I’m not sure woody understands statistics. In the case of the mortality rate of this flu there are so many different categories and variables that trying to predict results at this time in the U.S. is about like looking in a crystal ball.

The mortality rate from this thing is going up and down like a yo-yo. It was nearly 3%, then dropped to 1.5%, now back up to around 2%.

Statistics change as information comes in...
Eventually it will be much lower as immunity increases and drugs become available...
