thought it applies well for today

THIS SAD STORY ILLUSTRATES ONE OF THE MOST SALIENT LESSONS WE LEARN THROUGH OUR LIVES.

It's easy to imagine life as simple---good or bad,but often we wind up with a mix of both that shapes our lives
and our characters, making us who we are.
now the story

One day a man was walking down a path and saw a butterfly cocoon that was about to open.As he watched a small opening appeared in the cocoon. The man sat and watched for an hour or two as the butterfly struggled to emerge through the small hole,.Then it seemed to stop making any progress,it appeared that it had got as far as it could and could get no farther.
the man decided that he could help the butterfly so he used his knife to enlarge the hole in the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily, but the body was withered and its wings were shriveled.
The man continued to watch ,expecting that at any moment the wings enlarge and open to be able to support the butterfly. But that did not happen,in fact the butterfly spent the rest of it's short life crawling around with a withered body and shriveled wings.
It was never able to fly.

What the man in his good will and kindness did not understand was that the restrictive cocoon and the
struggle required for the butterfly to get through that tiny opening was natures way to ensure that fluid was forced into its body and its wings so that it would be ready to fly when it emerged from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are what we need in life.If we were allowed to go through life without obstacles WE would not be as strong as we could have been,it would cripple us.
(NEVER ABLE TO FLY)

I asked for strength but was given difficulties to make me strong
I asked for wisdom but was given problems to solve
I asked for prosperity but was given a brain and a body to work
I asked for courage but was given obstacles to overcome
I asked for love but was given troubled people to help
I asked for favors but was given opportunities
I received nothing I asked for but was given everything I needed

I will live my life without fear.I will confront every obstacle and know that I will overcome it.

STAY SAFE EVERY ONE
