I think there ought to be an amendment to the constitution that requires at least 3-5 training in government. A law degree, clerking for a judge, etc. We cannot let another i***t (or especially this i***t) that knows nothing about the law and how
it's supposed to work, in this country. I hope I'm talking to the right people. Thanks

opp is composed by a majority of Trump supporters A large portion of the Trump supporters think he is the best president we have ever had. Your label of him will get you off on the wrong foot so prepare your self to be lambasted.

Oh, you've definitely come to the right place. I just hope that you have a thick skin because conservatives to liberals on this board are about 5 to 1. So welcome and put on your flack jacket and keep your head down for all the incoming...
No the opp was started to oppose Trump thinkers. It was participants opinions that fulfilled the percentages.

So you are opposed to Tulsi Gabbard, Bernie Sanders, and Michael Bloomberg running for President.
Being "trained" - as you put it - can inoculate you against seeing flaws in the system. A lot of people like President Trump because he is not part of the "system"; a system that many people does not represent them anymore.
As far as comment "he knows nothing about the law": He probably knows more than the average American, especially dealing with the business end of things. But if one has to 'know the law' to be President, then you are limiting America to be ruled by a select class of people. Suddenly "Animal Farm" pops to mind - it was required reading when I was in high school - ever read it?

The qualification I must avoid for the president or any elected office is the law degree. We have experienced over the years, that most crimes committed by our elected officials are those corrupt lawyers, who master the illegal elements of fraud, corruption, lies, and fabricate crimes against the opponent, to advance their ambition for power, extort material things like money from the people, and prolonging their power using the government itself against the people he is supposed to serve. Since Barack Obama came in this was mastered under him via the Deep State, weaponizing the federal agencies against the people, and to getting away from it. This is the master piece of the corrupt legal people that we must be aware and never to consider law as the criteria for selecting a president or other elected duties. Beware of lawyers. They enter their office broke and get out filthy rich. E.g. Barrack, Hillary, Biden, Pelosi, Waters, Comey, and so many others.
A lot of degrees have legal courses and they know the system of governance, as well as effective leadership. Especially when they have engaged on those types of jobs. Choose the best one who has that experience, and background.

There ought to be an amendment to the constitution that prohibits anyone with a law degree from serving in public offices.

The fewer lawyers in our government the better.
Many are brought up in a privileged environment, attend private schools, ivy league colleges.
The result, no slightest idea what the average person deals with every day.
3-5 years in an average job with an average budget might create some insight.

A law degree does not necessarily make a good politician. Look at all of our politicians. Most have law degrees and where has it gotten us. Corruption, graff, egotism, bribery, extortion and division and that was just under Bathhouse Barry Ovommit's presidency. He was the worst and it lasted for 8 rotten years.

Lawyers know the law so well that they use every means possible to skirt it. I don't know many ethical lawyers and I have met many in my lifetime. I once had an attorney that was working behind my back to work out a deal with the person's attorney who wanted to sue me. How unethical is that? I fired that pos and almost wanted to follow thru and end his law career.

Ovommit was the master of corruption. I think he had a Ph.D in corruption which he learned from his community agitation job in S**tcago.
