He traveled last week. I just emailed him to find out if he got out. If he is there, he is probably sleeping right now. It was for a weekend event. He might have left already and on his way to Cubs spring training in Phoenix. Hopefully. Hmmm, wonder if those Cub tickets are available.
Just kidding. Actually I lived within about a mile of Wrigley Field for almost 40 years and only went to one game. Free ticket.
A funny story about that. We all need to lighten up a little and live with what life sends our way.
Anyway, I went to a Cub game when I was in high school. They lost. Forty years later I went again. They lost again. I relayed that to the Chicago Tribune who owned the Cubs at that time. I told them that I would go t another Cub game in about 40 more years and if they lose again, I'm quitting on them. The Chicago Tribune printed that in the Sports Section. Everybody deserves a laugh once in a while. Cheers and stay v***s free.
