Not me - the bible. You often make this mistake.

Unless you believe you're a prophet, yes, you...

A common secular argument that holds no water.

Are you aware of what secular means? You use it a lot... But often in contrasting and contradictory ways...

You DO rely on man. Your understanding is in line with those who reject Christ's more difficult teachings. That too is common among Christians who will not accept that Jesus is THE way.

Well... You capitalized it... Guess I lose now...

Why do you find them difficult? I have always found that part of the beauty of Christ's message is its simplicity...

It is the argument that all bible believing Christians will make. You mocking the Holy Spirit is not constructive either.

It's an argument that you called secular... And now you are claiming is biblical...

I never mock the Holy Spirit... Don't be silly...

You mean like yours and Tommy's confirmation bias? When you understand so little of what's said in the bible and read it like its just another book - as you two do - of course you'll think Tommy's posts make sense.

All individuals are subject to confirmation bias... That is an unfortunate truth...

Since your understanding is greater than mine, please clarify my earlier question to Parky... In the verse I gave, who is the man they speak of at the end?

Thank you...

Actually this thread is a good illustration of how Satan works. Tommy enters in and presents numerous falsehoods as usual, you mock the Holy Spirit and the term 'Pauline Christian' is used to attempt to convey that Paul contradicts or supersedes Christ. That's only scratching the surface.

Christ was offensive in the eyes of those who rejected His message and they killed Him because of it. Peter tells us Christ is "A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense". 1 Peter 2:8

You will never know what the Holy Spirit can do for you until you rely on Him. And until you believe that there is only one path that means you don't fully accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. You accept all of Him or none of Him.

The thread was about Paul and his teachings from the beginning... I very clearly explained what the term Pauline Christian meant, and that it has been used in a derogatory manner by some elements... Nota single member of the thread has been derogatory to Pauline Christians though... It has been an honest and civil discussion of the theology...

I'm sorry you feel that open discussion is an attack...

I have never mocked the Holy Spirit... Though I have mocked those who think that it leads them on Google...

Tommy entered and began a discussion with Pennylynn... Then you decided to interject with a tangent that contributed nothing to the thread... You didn't even attempt to refute his posts... Just started your harping that he is a false teacher and not worth listening to... Rather than ignoring a post you don't agree with and allowing the members who were involved in the discussion to continue...

And you're a moderator for this section... There should actually be a rule about moderators trolling threads...

I would most certainly reject any path that led me to behave or believe in such a manner... And I have no concerns about the wisdom of such a decision... God has not steered me wrong yet...Amen...

Rose.. You are the one who called that argument secular...

I don't often read this testimonies... As each faith and sect has numerous... Would you care to bread some from individuals who have converted to Catholicism? Or Mormonism? Or Islam?

But I'll make a note of it... I'm working my way through "the Sinner's Prayer" right now...

Here we go again!

The rapture is NOT new! It has been traced waaaaay back! I won’t go any farther on this subject, but I suggest you research it a little further!

I don't find them difficult but used to. Ask yourself why you deny that he is THE way and there is no other. That few will find the path and many are called few are chosen. These are all very simply stated by Jesus yet you deny them.

This thread has been hijacked. It has gone so far down the rabbit hole that it can not be salvaged. So, to those who have participated....thank you. For those who have been personally attacked, I am truly sorry. For those who have had their feelings hurt in any way, it was not the intent of the thread.

I think the thread served a purpose, that is to step out of our comfort zones and see Saul from another angle. I look forward to our next meeting on another thread. I hope that one can stay somewhat on track, civil, and be a learning experience rather than wagering a war between saints and sinners.
