At one point I read 78k infected in China and they claimed 2700 deaths, put it out everywhere never once saying anything about the those of 78k who lived.. Why no comments on it?? Or the people Quarantined that diid not become infected, Thank God, and released.. Why nothing about those numbers?

As far as the markets are concerned "What goes up must come down and visa versa". It only hurts if you need your money today. On the other hand it's a great time to buy.

it may hurt my pension amount for the year May to April 2021, since whether I get a raise or they lower the amount depends upon the stock market, and how the investment board did. Raise would be about 1%, and if they lower it, they will spread it out over 5 years, taking into account what has happened each year. By WI State law, the amount cannot be any lower than my original amount. So it would hurt, but not much, and our Investment Board are pretty savvy and middle of the road as to risk. I retired from WI State Service in 2008, just before the big crash, so my pension was not hit too hard. That and I only had 20 years of service in makes mine one of the smallest I think, but still nice to have. I am not sure how many other people would be immediately effected by the downturn. We will weather this, though. Trump's economy is still great, and this sell off, if caused by the c****av***s scare is certainly not his fault. The Democrats best watch what they say and about whom.
