Well, no $hit,Sherlock.

Today's world is way different from the one which gave rise to the CDC. Molecular biology has gone private and public all at the same time. Our ability to manufacture fast v*****es has improved a thousand fold if not more so. For these air born v***ses it is all we can do to produce an effective v*****e as quickly as possible. In fact, gov involvement actually slows the process via regulations which don't seem to be as necessary as they once were.

You put a lot of twist into the post, trying to make of it what it is not..

the trump slamming is about his own twist of the c****av***s, not the disease itself..

It is also about his cutting of funding of the our ability to fight the spread of the disease..

You want to privatize the role of the CDC? first you darn well need to find a way and the willingness to make the fight a money maker.. as always you think the roll of Government and corporations are the same..

they are far apart and if the money is not in it, then the corporations want no part of it..

We will never find corporations willing to take on the roles the government plays unless the additional vast
sums to line the pockets is also added.

The gist of my comment to you is "gov involvement actually slows the process via regulations which don't seem to be as necessary as they once were."

Also, as was implied in my comment is that the CDC isn't as effective as the privatized levels of v*****e production and implementation.

Your l*****t view that gov can function as both savior and money saver is way outdated. It's called socialism.

Lets not kid ourselves, the country is in dire straits..

Never have we had such a war on the checks and balances of our government.

Now at the pinnacle of the shift away from the founders vision, the Republicans reinforced the orange ones curtanty that he could indeed do the shooting on 5th ave and walk away..

with the recent "caught in the act" and beating the rap charade held by the republicans, in which the most common remark was, "yes, he broke the law, but I do not think he should be removed".. Far from teaching him a lesson as was voiced by senators, this act of a pat on the back has made the made orange revenger that much more of a detriment to the nation..

so why keep him for any reason. the only thing he brings with certainty is the demise of this country..

Any one of any political persuasion would be vastly better then one who works only for his own enrichment and personal gain..

Since Republicans refused to remove Trump, he has not been ‘taught a lesson’ as people like Senator Collins said he would. He has been emboldened, realizing that there are no longer checks to his power and he doesn’t need to pretend that there are:

He has fired Vindman, his brother, and Sondland in direct retaliation for their t***hful witness testimony against him
He has directed the justice department to interfere in the sentencing of Roger Stone, a Trump ally who was convicted for e******n i**********e
He has targeted New York for allowing i*****l i*******ts to get drivers licences by banning them from all travel programs, despite other states having similar options for immigrants
These are but the start of what a ‘Trump without limits’ will be doing for as long as he remains in office.

What have Republicans done in response?

Absolutely nothing.

My point isn’t I’m 100% certain that Republicans will never stand up to Trump.

My point is that no one can say with 100% certainty that they ever will.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the cuts L*****ts are clambering about contained in the proposed FY 2021 budget?

You must be practicing for St. Paddy's day; I haven't seen such a concentration of blarney in awhile.

We are learning about this v***s as we speak and Trump is not hindering it one bit. As for suffering, we the people lose between 30,000 and 40,000 each and every year due to flu and pneumonia v***ses. That is each and every year in the US alone. Your attempts to politicize something like this is not surprising as Trump stands a great chance of beating your "non-candidates" in 2020. Are those deaths also his fault? Y'all continue to be desperate and display levels of stupidity which, as I have said repeatedly, stagger the mind!!

When we lose 40,000 to the C****av***s I'll worry. What we need is a ban on semi automatic C****av***s. I'm surprised Maxine Waters, Alexandria Occasional Kotex, or that shining light of intellectual achievement, Sheila Jackson Lee, has not already proposed this solution.

Once more, I'm surprised no Liberal has proposed a ban on semi auto assault C****av***s, and background checks and waiting periods before you're allowed to catch it.
