The press is supposed to be neutral.

Nobody could be further from a dispassionate third party than Anderson Cooper the elite of all elites.

Son of Gloria Vanderbilt, Cooper has enjoyed a sweetheart position at CNN that puts his own celebrity before the story.

In a laughable and embarrassingly arrogant attempt to play journalist, Cooper started a game of Gotcha with pardoned ex Senator Rod Blagojevich.

When Cooper detected that Blago wasn't going to parrot the party line ( I e.: The accepted press viewpoint) he said pointedly "Bulls**t".

Anderson Cooper brazenly tried to overturn a former U S. Senators opinion by saying "I've got to call bulls**t on you for that".

Well maybe next time he's talking about his brother's suicide as being a result of mental illness, I'll say " I've got to call bulls**t on you on that".

See how it works?

What a talented and broadcast ready journalist. As if it wasn't pre -planned.
Oh Cooper you and Tapper and Chris Mathews are so SUPERIOR to a senator and/or a President who received 63 million v**es.

Anderson Cooper is as Democrat-leaning a broadcaster as they come.

To try and verbally cut down his interview subject shows how far over the line news personalities think they are.

Blago is entitled to his opinion. He is the one it happened to. His perspective is unique and the most😉 factual, as being the source.

.The other news outlets were showing Blago's beats.
If Cooper and CNN don't want their brainwashed viewers to hear it, they shouldn't have scheduled the interview.
.
Press members today strut around the newsroom calling the President names and playing backseat Commander In Chief too much.

With no filter or sense of propriety.

Where in the civility of an Interview did Anderson Cooper decide he was now Chief Justice of the Supreme Court?

Sadly getting bids for the opening seat IS Washington d.c. everyday politics.
Maybe Blagojevich was not as adroit as another person might have been.

Politicians do play horse trading with races and seats. Hence Senator Romney of UTAH. Senator Clinton from NEW YORK.

What Cooper couldn't stand was that Blagojevich was throwing qualified shade at Obama. Tarnishing one of partisan-leaning CNN's most revered totems.

Cooper just had to shut down his interview subject. In other words "Thanks for coming now STFU??????"

In what journalism textbook was that method written?

Weighted shade that wouldn't have been reported by the pro-Democrat press no matter how much Blago went public.

The Press should actually be worried that their f**e-news Holy Obama filter hasnt turned off the very viewers who used to watch CNN.

Instead of fronting his own opinion as gospel ( and insulting his GUEST with profanity) Anderson Cooper could have persuaded Blagojevich to reveal more information and really score a scoop.

Perhaps if Cooper had belonged to a principled part of the fourth estate he might have allowed viewers to decide what they thought.

But nope. Watchers clearly needed instruction. To know how to think.

And Cooper's unwillingness to let the former Illinois Senator's words speak for themselves put Cooper in that class of reporters who balk when they don't hear their own views parroted back at them.

Yeah but at least we know they are "pundits". Cooper plays like a legit journalist who just coincidentally landed his own cable show on talent.

Looks and pedigree have nothing to do with it eh.

Cooper deliberately did that to make the focus of the news cycle let himself.

Making yourself the story is the worst sin in journalism. Almost as bad as pure plagiarism .

What next hell take off his clothes to make sure viewers don't hear what Interview subject says?

And not bleeping frames it as a CNN stunt. Anyone else they would bleep

Blago tried to sell Obama's office to the highest bidder, and then in the interview with Anderson Cooper, Blago had the balls to maintain he had been a political prisoner just like Nelson Mandela. Cooper had every right to call bulls**t on that i***tic claim.

Omg you mean he agreed with the interviewer!

Lese majeste!

Blago is going with the incorrectly jailed mantra like the famous cause of Nelson Mandela. But he never intoned Mandela's name.

Somewhat like the former Michael national Security adviser, Blagojevich claims the arresters were not t***sparent and he was not given access to legal representation when he asked if he needed it

But he never claimed the scope or global political cause for freedom of speech that Mandela stood for.

How clever of Cooper to introduce the idea to set Blago up for mockery.

In previous interviews Blago made the same remarks but he never claimed the virtuosity or status of Mandela.

The headlines said that Cooper called out Blagojevich for claiming Mandela status. He didn't.

He was detailing how he felt about being jailed for an incongruous charge for political reasons. That is a similarity to Mandela's experience.

But agreed that this specific attribute was what effect the complex legal doings left him with is NOT the same thing as saying you are an having a historic and historically poignant racial and political experience on a seismic level as that of Mandela.

The gotcha effect was the best Cooper could do. His personal political bias was writ large and arrogantly displayed.

Blagojevich has detailed since for other more serious and professional inter viewers that the arguments and deadlines for response and some legal technicalities removed some of his rights.

Kind of like Nelson Mandela.
