I believe President Trump would have way more supporters if only....
You re right Proud Republican. Every human needs self control. I have no doubt self control played a major role in his growing up and in his success. Now he needs to exercise it w. regard to Twitter. More positive. Less negative. We don't need to hear adjectives like "crazy" or "pencilneck"
Just make your case clearly and concisely, Mr. President.

I stand behind his right to tweet, but I agree with you, pr.

I don't mind trump being politically incorrect. I oppose most of that. But he doesn't need to be insulting or crude. It alienates millions.
Do you really think It wins him sympathy or v**es to be crude and insulting.
IF Trump loses in 2020 and we lose at least the Senate, Trump will go down as the most h**ed president in history. Why?
The Dems will still h**e him. MSM will h**e him. Millions of Republicans will h**e him for destroying our party.
All because he wont control his mouth or ego.
Reagan didn't succeed acting like Trump does when he twitters.
Patton was admired by everyone with the exception of Ike.
Carol Kelly. Ike admired and liked Patton, despite Patton's sometimes lack of control.
Ike stood by him through the war. Only after VE Day did Patton really let his ego takeover and Ike had to remove him from command.
Patton was right with regard to the Russians, but he made Ike's position intolerable.
Remember, Ike was under command of FDR and Truman. Ike could have resigned, but then again Patton could have resigned
The only thing that makes Trump successful in 2020will be his Dem. Opponent no matter which of them gets the nomination.

George Patton had a similar problem, didn't he.
But he's the one that saved the war for the allies at The Bulge.
And not only that bailed the Limeys out in North Africa and liberated Sicily and Italy.

No he didn't. The weather cleared and the Panzers ran out of gas.
You missed the big picture, you gotta go back the summer of 1942 and work your way from North Africa to Sicily and then, in Aug. 1944 - Operation Cobra and the Bocage Breakout. In less than 3 weeks, Patton's 3rd Army trapped an entire German Army Group in the Falaise Pocket. In 3rd Army's sweep across France, they k**led or captured more Germans, covered more ground, crossed more rivers than any other allied army in Europe.
In December '44, when Hitler launched
Wacht am Rhine, Patton's 3rd Army was on the Rhine south of what became the Bulge. Immediately, Patton had his staff work up a contingency plan with the objective of sweeping straight up the river and trapping what was left of 3 German army groups in the Bulge. Ike called his commanders in to a war conference in Reims to plan the allied response. When asked, Patton told Ike he was prepared to turn his axis of advance 90 degrees and kick some German ass. They all laughed at him, asked him how soon he could accomplish this. He said 24 hours. They laughed again, but he turned his entire army 90 degrees and headed north. Unfortunately, Ike limited his response to just relieving the 101st in Bastogne.
Patton was a foul mouthed, fighting SOB who didn't give a tinker's damn about capturing and holding ground, his only objective was the destruction of the German army - "We're going to hold him by his balls and we're going to kick him in the ass; twist his balls and kick the living s**t out of him all the time.' - "We're going to go through the enemy like s**t through a goose."
And, that is what we need right now, a brazen fighting SOB committed to the destruction of an ideology that is diametrically opposed to our Constitutional Republic.

I have a feeling Reagan would have tweeted similarly, but twitter wasn’t around! Remember when he said if someone comes to you and says I’m from the government and wants to help, don’t believe it! Loose t***slation but effective!!

Yeah, Reagan also said, "The trouble with our Liberal friends isn't that they are ignorant, but that they know so much that isn't so." Not sure how he would have phrased that on twitter ....
