The Democrat power brokers have a big problem. If Bernie wins, they and I think it will be another McGovern debacle like 1972. Bernie is likely to cause massive collateral damage in the House and Senate. That is why Bloomberg was so attractive. Even if he lost he wouldn't have affected Congressional Seats.
Unless Mike can pull a miracle, and maybe he can with his unlimited money, Bernie looks unstoppable until he meets my boy Trump. Mayor Pete should be able to make some inroads against Bernie. Likely it won't be near enough. That sets up Mayor Pete perfectly for 2024. He will be 4 years older then. All he has to do this year is finish respectably and not do anything terrible.
Bernie will take over the party at the convention and everything will be peachy until November. What will be comical is Democrats being forced to line up behind Bernie. It would have been funnier for them to have to line up behind Bloomberg with his anti woman, anti black baggage.
