There are much more virulent diseases, with almost 100% fatality rates that are more studied for biological warfare. A flu like disease would be a long term event, even if it could be mutated to 50% mortality rate.

The problem with biological weapons is how to use them w/o k*****g your own, & how to disperse them quickly since the most virulent ones have short life spans.

I read that it was stolen from a Canadian lab. What they are getting is a mutation that will die or hibernate then come back with a vengeance. Just what I read. Well if people were spitting that could spread germs fast. The spitting was why didn't the government find a cure faster protest.

It would appear to me the v***s was developed for a control thing much like nuke weapons. I think it accidentally got out to devastate the host country.
Not really planned to wipe out the Chinese population.
They have plenty of controlled methods of population control without randomly k*****g off a lot of folks. Right now, I'd say no one over there is exempt from contracting the v***s.
Check the prison camps where citizens enter and never come out.
