What you miss here is that Obama had a staff reviewing cases for situations where prosecution has abused their powers, abuses of excessive sentences according to documented guidelines, decade plus sentences for misdemeanors, etc. Obama used a process, trump does not, he pulls these people out of his butt for political reasons and favors to friends.
I can't wait to see who influenced the pardon of the welfare fraud guy in Florida who had stolen $205 Million dollars. He was convicted of 90+ counts of fraud. The optics on pardons like this are as despicable as Trump is.

There were actually reasons to commute those sentences, unlike pardon;s like Arpeilo and the people he pardoned as favors to friends like Giuliani's partner.Trump is pardoning and set to pardon people who were involved in obstructing investigations into Trump issues, which by the way he is 100% involved in.
This co conspirator one thing in the case that Cohen went to prison on is no joke, co conspirator one means they have trump the exact same way they have Cohen.

I never liked Blago when he was our governor and his wife was a potty mouth embarrassment
as first lady. But I don't have a problem with him having his sentence commuted.....he served
