Here’s a good lesson in how the media push a preferred narrative by leaving out context. Last week, the Washington Post ran a story quoting Human Rights Watch, headlined, “At least 138 Salvadorans deported by the U.S. were k**led in El Salvador: Rights group.” The thrust of the story is that the US has blood on its hands and should have known not to deport these people back to their dangerous home nation, and the situation “will only worsen under Trump.”
https://www.westernjournal.com/lib-org-admits-obama-sent-deportees-deaths-blasts-trump-instead/And now, the context they didn’t highlight: of those 138 deportees, 109 were deported under the Obama Administration. Most who were murdered were k**led by gangs, particularly MS-13. As the story notes, since gangs mostly target other gang members, it raises the question of why those deportees were k**led by gangs, and how safe it would have been to leave them here in America.
As Paul Harvey used to say, “Now you know…the rest of the story!”

They pointed outa failure in our refugee program that cost 138 people their lives, these were not undocumented immigrants they were people who came here requesting political asylum, were denied it and sent back to their deaths. Obama is no longer President and as deuce is no longer in a position to correct this inexcusable situation, your I***t Pumpkinfuhrer is. By the way the report very clearly states the dates the people were denied refuge, if not you would not be aware of it. Now you know... the real rest of the story.

There is no failure in our refuge program, if the rules are followed.
obama didn't fix it when he could - thus he holds accountability also.
And that's the rest of the story.

It would have been a death sentence to leave them here, but it wasn't Trump who deported them.

Yes, they wouldn't be allowed in here to begin with. And OB sent them back, don't be stupid enough to suggest Trump should go after them. If anyone did they'd only be bringing them to a certain death.

There does need to be reforms in our immigration system. The ridiculous lottery system should be looked at for one thing. But enforcing our i*********n l*ws is not a failure

I agree on needed reforms in our immigration system. However the reforms that I think we need to see would not sit well with l*****ts.
