American's do not see or think about taxes. Until FDR income tax was not deducted from paychecks and at the end of the year the income tax was due. Many American's had not saved or put aside that tax and were very aware of the burden placed on them. Then Roosevelt and his team decide to take a little out of each paycheck so the American taxpayer would not feel any bite at the end of the year. Now most American's brag about how much they get back from their income tax. Think about it. You are getting nothing back. You are being returned that which was over assessed. Even with the very low interest rates from savings that paltry sum should be at least a couple of dollars. Remember that a Democrat gave you with holding in your paycheck. The IRS pays no interest on your money but charges penalties you if you neglect to submit what they are claiming to be owed. We have been charged and stolen from for almost 80 years and now look forward to receiving our own money at no interest. Eliminate withholding tax and pay at the end of each year. Make taxes hurt again. Let people know who much they are being charged. Easy to have a little dribble out each month but hurts to pay a big bill. Let American's know how much it costs and maybe they will begin to v**e responsibly and not keep people who have never held a job in D.C. forever. I am not saying should not pay taxes but I do believe that we should hurt when we pay them and be aware exactly how much of our money we do pay so that we do not continue to elect people who want to collect my money without end.
