I don't see how it is fortuitous for them. As the party out of power except for the House of Representatives, the C****-** restrictions on gatherings hurts them more than the party in power. True President Trump's rallies dwarfed their rallies, but if they want to challenge the President in a serious way, they will need to find a way to build support among their masses. Without public rallies, how would you do that ? If we were the party out of power, how would we do it ?
It is not just about blaming Trump for everything. They need to rally around one of their oldsters. Bernie's people have lost heart, and Joe's v**ers did not have enthusiasm before this crisis.
Democrats are counting on the youngsters to show up in November. First they must be taught to stay home instead of partying at spring break.
