Karlyn Borysenko is an organizational psychologist who just so happens to be a lifelong Democrat. She admits to the fact that she always saw Trump supporters as "r****t", but that all changed when she dove head first into the world of Trump at a New Hampshire rally last week.

And while she didn't "convert" into a Trump supporter overnight, she says her experience has left her believing that the Democrats have no shot to win in 2020.

"I think the Democrats have an ass-kicking coming to them in November," she writes towards the end of her column.

"And I think most of them will be utterly shocked when it happens, because they’re existing in an echo chamber that is not reflective of the broader reality"

Leading up to that bold statement, Borysenko tells an enthralling story about how she ultimately decided to attend a Trump rally and see the phenomenon for herself.

Her piece, titled "After Attending a Trump Rally, I Now Know Democrats Have No Shot in 2020", has gone v***l on Twitter after being retweeted by Donald Trump Jr, Dave Rubin, Brandon Straka, Scott Adams and many other prominent names in the political space.

"If you had told me three years ago that I would ever attend a Donald Trump rally, I would have laughed and assured you that was never going to happen. Heck, if you had told me I would do it three months ago, I probably would have done the same thing," she wrote.

However, through an interesting chain of events, she found herself in the midst of tens of thousands of jubilant Trump supporters:

I headed over an hour and a half before the doors were scheduled to open—which was four hours before Trump was set to take the stage—and the line already stretched a mile away from the entrance to the arena. As I waited, I chatted with the folks around me. And contrary to all the fears expressed, they were so nice. I was not harassed or intimidated, and I was never in fear of my safety even for a moment. These were average, everyday people. They were veterans, schoolteachers, and small business owners who had come from all over the place for the thrill of attending this rally. They were upbeat and excited. In chatting, I even let it slip that I was a Democrat. The reaction: “Good for you! Welcome!"

You see? The media depicts Trump supporters as "intolerant, r****t jerks". However, that is not what Borysenko experienced.

She then compared her experience at the Trump rally to her recent experience at the Democrat rally, which featured all of the top candidates:

I had attended an event with all the Democratic contenders just two days prior in exactly the same arena, and the contrast was stark. First, Trump completely filled the arena all the way up to the top. Even with every major Democratic candidate in attendance the other night, and the campaigns giving away free tickets, the Democrats did not do that. With Trump, every single person was unified around a singular goal. With the Democrats, the audience booed over candidates they didn’t like and got into literal shouting matches with each other. With Trump, there was a genuinely optimistic view of the future. With the Democrats, it was doom and gloom. With Trump, there was a genuine feeling of p***e of being an American. With the Democrats, they emphasized that the country was a r****t place from top to bottom.

Borysenko then walked away with a bold prediction after seeing the energy and unity at the Trump rally:

As I left the rally—walking past thousands of people who were watching it on a giant monitor outside the arena because they couldn’t get in—I knew there was no way Trump would lose in November. Absolutely no way. I truly believe that it doesn’t matter who the Democrats nominate: Trump is going to trounce them. If you don’t believe me, attend one of his rallies and see for yourself. Don’t worry, they really won’t hurt you.

I think the Democrats have an ass-kicking coming to them in November, and I think most of them will be utterly shocked when it happens, because they’re existing in an echo chamber that is not reflective of the broader reality. I hope it’s a wake-up call that causes them to take a long look in the mirror and really ask themselves how they got here. Maybe then they’ll start listening. I tend to doubt it, but I can hope.

Her column got praised by many on Twitter:

Though I wish there was a better republican candidate then Donald Trump, you democrats are probably in worse shape with the upcoming e******n than you were in 2016. The lunacy of the impeachment hasn't helped the cause either. Being less than a year from the e******n, you should have put the hatred aside, let him do his job, and run out a candidate that can beat him. I'm sorry but the candidates you have running can't do that. It's a sad joke really. And oh how you democrats h**e old rich white guys, and your top 3 candidates right now, are old, white, and rich. So i agree with the article, that yes, the democrats are in for a serious ass kicking in November.

If they continue as they are, yes, they will be lucky to have a party a couple of years from now.

Ten years ago my daughter , then twenty , asked me how to decide which party to join.
( she was already "being" a Republican , just didn't know it ). She's smart , understands why I love this country, and listened.
# 1 - As applies to our Constitution , one party is " liberal" and the other is "conservative".
The Constitution IS America , and should be
treated , AS WRITTEN , with great care.
# 2 - ( Here I appealed to her high standards in choosing friends , which was a bit easier to grasp for her... ) - Look at each party as someone you are going to marry. Are they honest ? Are they fair? Do they have good morals ? Over-all , are they nice ? Are you comfortable with them ? She's a good person , and the answer was/is a no - brainer.
