The next administration will still be Trump....and he will continue with four more years of successful economy. Come back in 2024 and see how things are going. Maybe Don, Jr. or Ivanka will take over after DJT has completed his second term. (Is your head exploding yet?)

perfect example of how great this economy is not

(Reuters) - American households added $193 billion of debt in the fourth quarter, driven by a surge in mortgage loans, and overall debt levels rose to a new record at $14.15 trillion, the Federal Reserve Bank of New York said on Tuesday.

Mortgage balances rose by $120 billion in the fourth quarter to $9.56 trillion, the New York Fed said in its quarterly report on household debt. Mortgage originations - pushed up by an increase in refinancing - also rose to $752 billion in the fourth quarter, reaching the highest volume since the fourth quarter of 2005, the report found.

Non-housing debt, including auto loans, credit cards and student loans, rose by $79 billion.

"Mortgage originations, including refinances, increased significantly in the final quarter of 2019, with auto loan originations also remaining at the brisk pace seen throughout the year," Wilbert Van Der Klaauw, senior vice president at the New York Fed, said in a statement. "The data also show that t***sitions into delinquency among credit card borrowers have steadily risen since 2016, notably among younger borrowers."

Some 2.36% of loans became more than 90 days delinquent in the fourth quarter, driven down by a low rate of delinquencies for mortgage loans. New foreclosures remained low by historical standards, with 71,000 notations added to credit reports between October and December.

However, delinquencies rose for credit cards and student loans - with young borrowers seeing the biggest increase. Researchers said the rising delinquencies among borrowers in their 20s and 30s could be related to high levels of student loan debt, which could make it difficult for consumers to afford their bills.

Really,
Obama quotes " This is America's new economy " referring to high food stamps and majority of new jobs being part time only, low paying jobs.

Guess Trump found the magic wand.!!!

The stock market soared when T***p w*n the e******n, even before being sworn in. Wallstreet stated the market soaring rest on futures, based on corporate growth and expansion, higher paying jobs that are full time accross America. Wallstreet is the best in forecasting, Trump delivered and the American boom began.

Bingo! When I hear the libs try to take credit for Trump's red hot economy after Obama's toilet economy, I just consider the source and don't waste my time even responding to them. "Arguing with a fool is like giving medicine to a dead person." Mark Twain

As ive repeated said, The Current Administration, is riding the waves created by the prior administration, as history always shows, no matter what the talking heads spew.

The economy is just one of several areas where Trump repeatedly claims credit for conditions or policies implemented under his predecessors. He has bragged about reductions in air and water pollution that were the result of presidents going back decades. He has claimed credit for a reduction in lung cancer deaths based on a decades-long study that ended the year he took office. Perhaps most famously, he has repeatedly ― and falsely ― boasted about passing the “VA Choice Act,” which allows veterans to get medical care at private facilities if wait times are too long at Veteran Affairs clinics, even though it was signed into law by Obama.

But the economy is the one issue that could determine whether Trump succeeds or fails in his attempt to win a second term ― and his boasts about it are consistently misleading and, at times, simply false.

Trump repeatedly brags that unemployment among African Americans is at historic lows. While that was correct in August and September, the unemployment figure has risen since then, according to federal statistics. More broadly, the trend lines for both African Americans and Latinos show a steady decrease from the end of the 2008-09 recession, through the Obama presidency and to the present day, with no significant change in the slope of those graphs when Trump took office in January 2017.

“He’s largely riding trends he inherited,” said Jared Bernstein, once the chief economist to former Vice President Joe Biden.

I have four that are okay to use here. Promises made, promises kept. Perhaps earlier administrations started some although who brought manufacturing back? It's the follow-through that counts and they didn't follow through, Trump did.

I know a few who started businesses and it doesn't go that way. Like my dad, put the workers on the same plane as yourself, it works out great.

HE HAS NOT BROUGHT IT BACK, THESE JOBS HAVE SLOWLY COME BACK SINCE 2010, UNDER BOTH OBAMA AND TRUMP. ALBET SLIGHTLY BETTER UNDER TRUMP, BUT IT AINT BACK

Trump certainly has exaggerated claims about his success in reviving U.S. manufacturing. And as we have written, U.S. manufacturing is not “back,” at least it is nowhere near where it was two decades ago. The industry lost more than 6 million jobs between 1998 and 2010. But the number of manufacturing jobs has been slowly growing ever since, according to data kept by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, and on average, at a faster clip under Trump than under President Barack Obama after the recession

Right, I was a vice president in about '68 and kinda kept up while away through old friends. barry did nothing. If you remember the GDP was 1. As I said it's all in the follow through, Bush then barry didn't follow through, but that was his plan-cripple the nation. Btw, what are you smoking?
