4.8 trillion is what his budget calls for. It call for 4.4 trillion in cuts over ten yrs it is a terrible budget no wonder he went bankrupt so many times

budget are sorely needed but , we should not have a 4.8 trillion dollar budget and promising to balance the budget by 2035. Cut the BUDGET DOWN BY A TRILLION each year. Have Trump stay in the White House or Camp David would save MILLIONS of dollars a yr. So You know very little about running a business if this is your model!!!

The entire national debt, all 22 trillion of it, is due to "safety net programs". Since LBJ initiated his 'war on poverty' which was really a war on taxpayers, the government has spent 22 trillion dollars 'fighting poverty' with the myriad of means-tested welfare programs.

The result? Poverty hasn't decreased, crime has increased, working families now need multiple incomes, and welfarers live a higher standard of living than many of those paying their way. And the country has a 22 trillion dollar debt that can never be paid off.

Yay!!! As Commander in Chief, Trump has all his priorities exactly right!
His first and foremost job is to insure the security of the nation. So increasing defense spending is a no brainer considering all of America’s enemies, both foreign and domestic.
And to tell the t***h, the Constitution doesn’t even authorize domestic spending on so-called safety nets, aka welfare. If ALL of the unauthorized domestic spending were totally eliminated, we’d have a huge surplus, and our economy would be red hot. Besides, those monies traditionally came from charitable organizations. Maybe in his second term, Trump can restore the budget to only expenditures authorized by the constitution. Meaning lots of departments would also get axed. Dept of Ed, EPA for starters. Yay!

Trump promised to erase the deficit in 3 years. Instead, he's tripled it on the backs of middle class Americans and their healthcare and Social Security.
