Here are a couple of interesting facts and observations for you to consider:

In their January 2018 study “U.S. Income and Wealth Ine******y”, Deutsche Bank states the following:

-On page 3 is shown that U.S. is comparable to Chile, Israel, Mexico, Portugal, and Turkey, as being at the top of the nations studied, in “ine******y in household disposable income.”

-On page 6: “A record high 30% of households have no wealth” in the United States.

-On page 7: All-time high median net worth in constant dollars was 2007, at $119,000, declined to $67,000 in 2010, and rose to $78,000 by 2016.

-On page 8: “U.S.: Top 0.1% owns as many assets as the bottom 90%”

-On page 10: U.S. has higher income-ine******y than any other OECD nation.

-On page 11: Income-ine******y is rising faster in U.S. than any other OECD nation.

-On page 15: Top 1% in pre-tax income in the U.S. in 2014 was $1.3 million+. The Top 0.1% was $6 million+.

So: if the top 0.1% in income in America are also the top 0.1% in wealth in America, then the individuals in America who draw $6 million+ annual income own as much as do all 90% who aren’t in the top 10%.

These top 0.1% people also donate the lions’ share of the money that finances political ads and organizations for their candidates and against the candidates who are financed instead by the other Party’s billionaires.

And finally you have this:

"There are, according to the latest count by Forbes (as of 2019), 607 billionaires in the U.S., and these people include, for example, Jack Dorsey who controls Twitter, and Eric Schmidt and John Doerr who mainly control Google, as well as Mark Zuckerberg who controls Facebook. Of course, Bezos, Buffett, the Waltons, the Kochs, and hundreds of others, are also among these 607: but, still, it’s this group of people (plus perhaps a hundred of the mere centi-millionaires) who actually control mega-corporate America including its government — they also hire and control millions of employees and other agents such as law firms and lobbyists — and the other 330 million Americans do not possess such control, but instead only work for them, and sell to them, and buy from them, and view the world through their media. Most importantly, the other 330 million Americans receive their television and radio and newspaper and magazine ‘news’ from the country’s billionaires, and v**e for the U.S. President and members of Congress on the basis of that news, which is virtually entirely filtered by appointees of these 607 people, not only as being controlling owners of the media but as being (controlling) the largest advertisers in all of the major media. The largest advertisers participate, with the media-owners, in controlling the media. It’s all the same group of fewer than a thousand individuals, who collectively control America."

"If America were a democracy, then there would be no “narrative control on social media,” because social media wouldn’t be allowed to censor wh**ever they want to censor. They wouldn’t have that power. The First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution prohibits the Government from punishing anyone for any type of “speech,” but doesn’t say anything to limit America’s aristocrats from censoring out wh**ever they want to be censored-out — using their “social media” so as to reduce the ability of anyone to say or to link to what those super-rich don’t want the public to have access to. Censorship by the billionaires is accepted in America." https://www.zerohedge.com/political/who-can-now-say-america-hasnt-become-mega-corporate-dictatorship

In the final analysis, "Who" controls America is determined by whomever "We, the People," allow to control America.

If you don't completely trust the information you are receiving from U.S. Media, double check it against other nation's outlets.

They have no reason to lie on our behave.

What is important is for people to have a dry place to sleep, without rats and plenty to eat. Income e******y is not a factor.

Income ine******y can herald greater things to come...

Revolutions often start from such issues...

And can have unforseen consequences

Think China in the early 20 th century....

We have been getting worse with each passing year. In the past a child in this country would do better than their parents at greater rates than anywhere in the world. There are now dozens of nations well ahead of the US in that statistic.

What- do you have something against rats? Many cultures eat them, perhaps we should encourage poor people to eat rats, well cooked of course, good protein source. That would provide food for those who live on the streets, and if the rats are young they might be tasty. Something to think about.
Just kidding, now go eat your steak, purchased with food stamps, and enjoy it.

Years of ignoring rather than enforcing our own I*********n l*ws has placed our nation in the unenviable position of being responsible for millions of both i******s and unvetted self-claiming-but-unproven-to-be refugees who are draining our available cultural safety nets ASAP, with no relief in sight.

Being able to support themselves in some fashion, or to at least contribute to their own existence, should be very much a factor!

Under normal circumstances, for the nation's livestock, a dry shelter and food is a bare minimum, surely we can aspire higher than that for our human population.

There is a reason President Trump emphasizes "Jobs! Jobs! Jobs!"

In a properly functioning free society, every able bodied adult should have the opportunity to seek and secure employment.

This was true of our society in past decades, before we stopped correctly policing our own borders, and have instead admitted millions of illiterate, untrained i*****l a***ns who lack any employable sk**ls, and have been unscreened for communicable diseases.

It was also before Barack Obama spent eight years indiscriminately, and in a very sneaky fashion, admitting hundreds of thousands of middle eastern "refugees," and distributing them into states without even notifying governors or other officials that he was doing so, until after the fact.

Again, these people, besides being a potential terrorist risk, lacked basic employable sk**ls, including English, thus, the taxpayers are completely carrying the burden of supporting the living costs of unvetted, uneducated, unemployable people, some of whom are a health risk to their new communities.

I'll get back to you on how America compares with other countries, but in the meantime, check out the following website (https://apps.urban.org/features/wealth-ine******y-charts/) which is where I obtained the following screenshots which reflect the growing wealth ine******y from 1963 to 2016.

Average wealth has increased over the past 50 years, but it has not grown equally for all groups. Between 1963 and 2016,

-families near the bottom of the wealth distribution (those at the 10th percentile) went from having no wealth on average to being about $1,000 in debt,
-those in the middle more than doubled their wealth,
- families near the top (at the 90th percentile) saw their wealth increase fivefold,
-and the wealth of those at the 99th percentile—in other words, those wealthier than 99 percent of all families—grew sevenfold.
