A friend and I collected a cord of pinyon from the Pinenuts west of Yerington a month ago about 22 miles up a dirt road. It was snowy and dark before we came down. There were deer tracks and cat tracks all up and down the road. I guess they found it the best way to travel too. They say there's 11 cats in this valley. There was 12 but one got hit on the road almost in town about a year ago.

maybe they should put on the ground about 10 to 20 feet all around a version of nails on or in plywood so the dummy can run over the nails
