Politics Is The Place For Disagreement And And Discussions...Not The Division We Are Seeing

Politics is about opposing ideas and opinions, it is the place for the other party openly disagreeing with a president...but most importantly it is the place where a president's own party needs to be able to openly criticise a president and the ill conceived ideas he might be exercising or even trying to implement.

Those who disagree with trump are not the enemy, they are not unpatriotic, disagreeing with the president has nothing to do with whether they love their country or not, and disagreeing sure as heck doesn't mean those who disagree are wrong.

This president has zero tolerance for anyone disagreeing with him or his ill conceived ideas that flit into his head with the last conversation he had with the last people he should be listening to, leaders of autocratic dictatorships, or the opinion editors on FOX. To disagree is to have him turn on you, and more than likely be fired.

The most disturbing thing about what we are seeing right now is the fear trump has created in his own party. To have trump turn on a GOP politician is far worse than simply losing the base v**es in an upcoming e******n. For trump to use the language of hatred and d******eness is to have his base h**e the t*****r and consider him to be the enemy. These senators and representatives know that their lives will be turned into a personal hell in terms of their community. Their homes will be under assault, their families, and threats will come....

This is not what politics is supposed to be, it is a process of interaction and disagreements, not the personal warfare trump has been fueling in a way that turns the people into enemies rather than people who chose to disagree.

Hitler turned people who didn't agree with his party against their neighbors...I never saw Obama calling people on the right the enemy.

You are using the old 'business (politics) as usual' argument - which was soundly rejected by the e******n of President Trump. His e******n was, in essence, revolution.

Please send this article to your Congressman.
It may sink in and begin the change to work with, and not against our President.
Just think what President Trump could do with their support.
MAGA TRUMP 2020 through 2024

Agreed.

Think how things might have been if the democrats had tried to work with President Trump; and he would have worked with them - wheeling and dealing is what he does.

....and they would have looked a lot better overall.

I didn't hear Obama demonizing the right, and neither did you. Perhaps you should listen to any of the eight state of the union addresses. Even in the beginning, after Obama had stepped into a true mess that Bush had left, never did he feel a need to beat up Bush and constantly repeat over and over what a great job he'd been doing turning around the Bush failed stock market and economy. Home values were in the crapper, the stock market was in the crapper, unemployment was over 11%, foreclosures were at record levels, the deficit had blown into $1.4 trillion from the budget surplus it had been at.

Obama's SOTU speeches were about what was being done for americans, not just Obama supporters.

Trump talks from a fantasy world where he took over an economy that was the worst ever in history and miraculously turned it around to the best economy in history.

He speaks from a world where those who do not blindly support him are the enemy, how they h**e the country if they h**e him, where the media is all f**e when they don't support him.

Obama didn't like negative press anymore than any other president has, but this attacking the free press is exactly what dictators and autocrats do...exactly. Obama never did that.

Old business runs new business. Obama was a hired hand and a criminal. His records were closed...all of them. Never before in history. If anyone should have been impeached it was that man. Speaking of abuse of power, Obama created the DACA law all by himself, alone. That was truly impeachable. He brought in the Muslim problem and it is a problem, a big problem. All over the world Muslims are being pushed back and we need to do the same thing. The Republicans are united as never before with the exception of Romney and he should move across the aisle.

He doesn't wheel and deal, he makes stupid moves without talking to anyone involved in the agencies and departments that have career professionals who could point out the error of bad moves. He wheels and deals with dictators and autocrats if he wheels and deals with anyone. He has a trump tower in Turkey, Erdogan then tells him to get the hell out of Syria and he scrambles out leaving a fully stocked base for the Russians to operate from.

Trump does nothing but unravel and break deals, and he does it with no clear end goal in mind.
...great "deal" for Putin and Erdogan in Syria (not so good for Kurds)
...great "deal" and show of support for Putin in the Ukraine (not so good for Zelensky and the Ukraine)
...great "deals" in China for his daughter's patents and his resort when he lifted sanctions on ZTE
...great "deal" for Kushner getting hundreds of millions in loans from Qatar on over leveraged buildings
...great deal for the Saudi's with thousands of our mercenary like troops (trump tower in Dubai)

Trump doesn't make deals, he blunders around creating chaos with everything he touches.

Whereby he divides the country with an enemy versus supporter, patriot versus unpatriotic, loves the country or h**es it divide that is pure rhetorical horse crap?

This is what it is, you as a member of the believers and blind followers can own it and stop with the denial about this president fueling the division in this country. He calls everyone who disagrees with him an enemy of this country.
