He doesn't care. I believe his sole purpose in running for Senate was to put himself in a position to try to stop President Trump from fulfilling his agenda in any way he could. I predict he will not run again, as his term will end in 2024 when Trump leaves office, because his job will be done.

The only positive thing I can say about him ........ "In it for Mitt" will NEVER be President.

You're right, he is an i***t. And there was no "soul searching" or any such deep concerns about this v**e. He made up his mind long before this even started in the Senate. He was going to do his best to keep the trial going with more witnesses and, when that didn't happen, he was going to make sure that the guilty v**es would not be a totally partisan count. Doing his level best to do everything he can to try to make Trump look bad. His ultimate goal.
