I saw Willie Mays - the Say Hey Kid - hit a home run in his last days as a Giant before retiring soon after. It was bat day and I got myself a Willie Mays bat. That was a loooong time ago too.

This is football, not baseball, but in 2015 I had the honor of sitting next to on a plane and meeting, speaking with and shaking the hand of Jim Brown, whom many, myself included, consider the greatest football player in the history of the NFL.

IMHO, you glorify your Savior as well as anyone on this forum, and better than many of us on any given day.
We must all vote in November. It's not possible to believe there's no difference between parties, as it was once, decades ago.
We are told to "occupy" until the Lord returns (Luke 19), which means we relinquish no more ground to the Adversary... meekly, in humility, through the strength that God supplies.

Thank you. I try, but I'm a pitiful vessel. I leak like a sieve. I love Jesus and I know He loves me. It's more than enough and much more than I deserve. I can do the occupy part not sure about the meekly and humbly part. But if He tarries much longer, age will make me meeker and more humble. Or I'll become an old grouch.
I loved the president's speech. He really made me feel proud again and that our country is safe for a while. At least for 4.5 more years. After that who knows? Bibi seems to be risings in the polls. Abbas is having a hissy fit. I'm feeling pretty good and secure. Q's post today said buckle up. I assume that means FISA is about to drop and Comey and his sidekicks get formally charged. I wonder where RBG was last night?
