What do you want?

What do you want for your country, your family, yourself? It seems that we spend more time arguing about what we DON'T want, than what we DO want. I wonder why? My personal opinion is that we fear losing something, you know "universal healthcare = no choice", "gun control reform = confiscation", and so on. I think that if we began considering what we want instead of what we don't want, we'd find far more in common with each other then we do now. So, here's some questions related to that theme.

Do you want the government ( local, State, Federal ) to solve problems that affect you personally, solve problems that affect others, or don't care either way?

Would you like to see laws/rules that make it easier for you to live your life the way you want, or rules/laws that affect everyone equally, whether it makes it easier for you or not?

Would you like to see some kind of policy that protects you from being offended by others behaviors? Would you like to see some kind of policy that protects others from being offended by your own behaviors?

Do you want a political system that favors the majority party ruling all, or a system that treats all representation equally? Do you want a justice system that is truly blind to partisan or ideological concerns, or one that favors your own viewpoint?

I realize that the answers to some of these questions will depend on whether your party/ideology is in ascendance or is not...............................and that alone should tell you something important about yourself. If all of us want to be successful and happy, our families to be successful and happy, and our country to thrive.......................why do we h**e each other so much?

Question 1. NO ! I don't need government to solve a damn thing for me.

Question 2. No ! Just enforce the laws that are already on the books.

Question 3. No ! Nothing that any of you Goobers can say or do, will offend me. I am of thick skin and mere words mean nothing to me.

Question 4. No ! I already have a Republican form of government and if you study the Constitution, you will find that Article 4 Section 4, clearly states the following.
(The United States shall guarantee to every state in this union a republican form of government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence).

Now Goober, you have clearly displayed your asinine attempt to bait our OPP members into giving you a reason to criticize their answers and be a judgemental jerk.

But you forgot, some of us are not fooled by your underhanded, lowlife state of mental derangement.

You're just pissed off because Trump beat your jackass democrat leaders at their own game.

You gave the answers I think most everyone would give him. Only the simple-minded would disagree with them. There I said it.

A portion of our people are easily lead do no research about info and believe everything their reps tell them these I call robot followers. Then you have a portion (small) that are fence-sitters they can't make up their minds and in the end most don't v**e because they're not sure. Then you have those that really don't even like this country and will do what they can to disrupt/antagonize/burn/blow up just to show their hatred the majority of these just come on sites like opp to piss people off with their venom and hatred. Then you have the divide of people that do love this country but stand on opposite sides of the river these are the strong guard their problem is the interpretation of what is c*******m and Americanism These need to get a damn dictionary and sit down and discuss the definitions they find there PERSONAL OPINION

I want my government to take action on things like the opioid crisis, homeless problem, fixing the disaster of Obama care, fixing the spiraling school debt crisis, and stop wasting three years trying to reverse the results of an e******n. That's what I want.
