The United States Senate was formerly the upper chamber of the United States Congress, which, along with the United States House of Representatives ― the lower chamber ― comprised the legislature of the United States. It died on January 31, 2020, when senators from the Republican Party refused to stand up to a corrupt autocrat calling himself the president of the United States, refusing to hear testimony that said individual blackmailed Ukraine in order to c***t in the 2020 p**********l e******n.

Your post is neither simple nor true. The Democrat House totally discredited itself with this bogus, partisan impeachment they planned the minute Trump was elected.

It died with the 17th Amendment allowing Senators to be elected by majority popular v**e rather than state legislatures. The Federal government has usurped more power and states are weaker ever since the progressive advocated for this change.

The Democrats called 17 of there witnesses, GOP-zero.
During the Clinton impeachment the Senate v**ed 100-0 not to call witnesses, did you know?
Based on the Clinton impeachment, the balance of fair trail rested only on the democrats.....end of story.

Not even close.
The Democrats were already talking impeachment before President Trump was even sworn in, and ever since his inauguration they've tried one thing after another to undo the results of the 2016 e******n
because they didn't like the outcome, and the will of the American people didn't matter.
Had they not been talking impeachment from the outset and had they produced one set of charges somewhere along the line that held actual merit, they would be a lot more convincing.
But this Wile E Coyote thing where they're trying every single charge they can come up with to depose him tells a story that anyone who isn't really stupid understands -- it's not about anything he's done that other presidents all through our history haven't done, including Democrats and it's not about "high crimes and misdemeanors," first it was about undoing an e******n result, now it's about keeping President Trump from running for re-e******n, because the Democrats know he'll win in a landslide.
Adam Schitt repeated several times that Trump will "c***t" his way to re-e******n if he's allowed to run again, a ridiculous charge that masks the reality: though they deny it with the help of their legacy media stooges, Trump has accomplished a lot that's great for the average American, but bad for socialist Democrats' agendas, so he has to go.
Seeing how little respect today's Democratic Party has for the Constitution, the will and the intelligence of the American people, the founders would be turning in their graves right about now -- would have for the last eleven years, in fact.
Today's Democratic Party is a disgrace to everything America stands for.

But they don't like guns, so, you are safe. Besides, it is tough to argue with what you said. You might only receive responses from diehard Democratic trolls. Of course, they will consider this to be a challenge.

Dang, tuck, you're good man, ya beat me to it.
Since the 17th amendment was ratified one hundred and seven years ago, congress has steadily turned away from We, the People and put its energy and our resources into building government.

Seriously, man, have you no self respect? Rather than think for yourself in an effort get at the t***h, you just parrot an Adam Schiff lie, a fabrication, a complete butchery of the facts surrounding the infamous phone call. That affair is thoroughly documented and all the facts favor our president.
President Trump DID NOT blackmail Ukraine "in order to c***t in the 2020 p**********l e******n."
You've already gone ten bridges too far with your madness, but, alas, for now you have the right to stand on a bridge and piss in the American stream.
It is a shame that scatter brained l*****ts still believe that crap.

They'll fall back on the stock arguments they always do, ignoring the t***h in favor of some pat line or other and/or resort to the usual Trump slander menu, totally clueless that anyone with any grasp of reality knows they're either lying or, worse still, actually believing the propaganda they're spewing.
In the former case, they look like dupes, in the latter, they look like simpletons.

You need to take a course on the constitution.
You might finally get up to the correct speed.
You get nothing right.

No, they didn’t.. Congress failed to prove their charge of impeachment.. Senate will make its finding based on proven or not proven.. That simple.. Senate is not charged with building a case for Congress, they are charged with a finding of fact relative to the charges alleged by Congress..Factual, proven facts not hearsay..
