In the case of Nixon's impeachment the supreme court upheld the subpoenas Nixon was trying to defy. It is likely that any subpoenas issued by the senate would be fast tracked in a couple of weeks if trump tries to exert non existent executive privileges.

This is an impeachment trial, for crimes being misdemeanors or otherwise, executive privilege is out the window unless there is some underlying matter of highly sensitive national security.

Every time trump tries to hide something it simply points to something he doesn't want out that we need to know.
