This latest ploy to use their cohorts at the NYT to leak information is just about d**gging the process out all the way to the e******n. If Bolton testified then there would be a call for another witness and another,etc. Of course, the only witnesses they want are the ones of heir own choosing. Republicans should not fall into this trap. End it by saying they are going to call the Bidens first. When the Democrats balk it will show they are not really interested in t***h, so take the v**e then. If Bolton is called first the Democrats have won and the process will continue indefinitely.

After this the Republicans on the fence are seriously entertaining doing what s right and calling for witnesses. This won’t get trump removed but it will lay bare his crimes against the American people and make life tough for his sycophants in the senate.

I disagree. We don't know exactly what Bolton said in his book. One account I heard was that Trump had told him he wanted to see the contents of an investigation into Ukraine corruption prior to releasing the military aid. That sounds pretty consistent with what Trump has actually claimed and besides, Trump released the aid prior to any investigation announcement or results. The fact of potential corruption involving the Biden's and Obama remains. It was as much as announced by Biden himself and so Trump has the right to suggest that the new Ukraine president look into it, despite the fact that Biden is now a candidate. Being a candidate does not erase the appearance of corruption nor does it let Biden off the hook.
Also, the fact that Bolton is trying to sell a book and has significant "bad grapes" as regards to Trump is also evident and obvious. What is also obvious is that Bolton has the same mentality as Comey and all the rest who want a piece of Trump. No surprises there!

Oh, I think he will remind them of that many times over. There will be debates with the eventual dem nominee. Trump will essentially laugh them and the impeachment off and folks will love it.
