Not really a big deal..

This forum is all about opinion, and I don't appreciate someone telling me to go back and listen to something and "re-think" what I heard.

Are you so dead set in your opinion that you won't even consider others? Kind of sounds like the intolerant left to me. Surely you can appreciate that opinion if you are open-minded. You don't have to re-think what you heard. Just listen to see if others might not possibly hear the same thing as you. Pre-conceived perceptions can heavily influence what we hear and how we hear it.

Liberals hear r****m in nearly everything because of how they have been trained to perceive the world. Conservatives hear what the other person is saying without jumping to conclusions. Much of this depends on your mind-frame reference from life experiences, learned behaviors, and perception of the world and interaction with others.

Remember Yanny v Laurel.

This forum is all about learning and rethinking opinions...

Have you never been wrong?

I thought I was wrong once, but it turned out that I was right.

I think the reporter made an accidental slip. End of story. The real important story is what actually occurred, the death of one of America's (and the world's) greatest athletes, Kobe Bryant and his daughter. He was an iconic figure who will long be remembered.

Do you think that with my comments I am not considering others? If that is what you think, then we are at an impasse.

I have an opinion about this. So do you. "Dead set" is a judgement on me by you. I believe I have considered many other opinions about an anchor news reporter who spouted out her real beliefs while wound up on her news presentation. That is it. That you want to spin this into some "freedom of speech" issue, is your issue. Not mine.

You were still wrong about being wrong

It certainly sounds that way to me, in the same way, that you say what you think you heard. (I'm being facetious of course but I think you understand my point.)

"Dead set" is not a judgment on you but on what you said. Your own words are a judgment, and it sounds like you are the one having a problem with this.

On another forum, liberals are saying she said "Nakers" and "Knicks", but my ears very clearly hear the Ni***rs word. This woman (Allison Morris) clearly has that word in her head, and it just came out while she was all worked up reporting on this story. She should be immediately fired.
I simply asked you a question.

I don't want to spin it into anything. So it's no problem for me.

Have never been a basketball fan... But I'm familiar with the name... Tragic about his daughter...

Usually, when I think I am right, it is pointed out to me by someone else that I am wrong; Yes, it is a paradox.

I am disappointed in you. You did spin it. Of course it's not a problem for you because you can't see the forest for the trees - in my opinion.

Your simple "question" pointed to that I am wrong with my opinion. I am not.....because it is how I feel. My opinion is not fact. Neither is your opinion fact.

Not sure of the exact number. I have heard as many as nine people were on the helicopter. Another Father/Daughter who was going to the same game as Kobe's daughter. Very tragic. We mustn't overlook the other's, whose names have not been released as yet.

Prayers for all of their families...
