Mark Levine's opening address to the Senate on impeachment, given from his study that is:

https://youtu.be/2E1mOkNohl8

If only.

He may not have made this statement on the Senate floor, but he made it to their bosses, we the American people. And if the Senate or the Chief Justice does not come to virtually the same conclusions, then it is more than apparent just how far the government has strayed from the Constitution.

He made many great points. One I personally hadn't heard yet, and think is dynamite, is regarding executive privilege of the President concerning his cabinet members, etc., being supposedly at the whim of subpoena by the House. That isn't so. Even members of the House are immune, for example, from FOIA requests. Look at how resistant the Democrat Reps are to allow themselves, or the whistleblower, or their own staff to be called to testify.

This impeachment attempt, without any shadow of a doubt-zilch-is nothing but an overreach of power on the side of Democrats.

Anyone who doesn't see that simply has no real love of this country or its Constitution! You don't seek to fundamentally change something that you love!

For example, I love my wife. I have no desire to change anything at all fundamental about her. Does that mean she's perfect? No, but more so probably than I am! Are there things about her I'd like to see improved? Yes, but never ever if the cost was to fundamentally change her! Therefore, I'm more than happy accepting her as a whole package, every part.

Now compare this with the left's desire to fundamentally, not just change, but dismantle and reconstruct practically every element of the Constitution. Would they say that to their prospective spouses if they were intending to marry them out of love for them? How would that look? "Honey, will you marry me, but first start wearing clothes that look like mine, and only say things that I agree with, which means you're going to have to change your mind about a lot of things and be more like certain others I want you to be like, and help me take care of our neighbors children before our own..."

That's what l*****ts are saying to America every single day. And we are to believe them when they say they love America and defend our Constitution!

Not buying it.

Thank you, Mark Levine, you continue to live up to your nickname, "the great one"!

Great post! I just wish the Democrats could admit what they’re trying to do and give it up. Of course that won’t happen, so maybe we should show them by v****g them out of office.

I think they won’t admit it because:
(D) = “Double-standards” (not “Democratic” as they’d like us to believe)

Great post. Thank you.
Bravo! Brilliant Mark Levine. I am so impressed with every word you've said, about this impeachment h**x. You defined clearly the constitution. From the beginning, all the proceedings engaged by radical DEMS, and Adam Schitt were all in violations of the constitution.

All the fabricated crimes of Adam Schitt and Pelosi at the House Chamber were all concocted lies and manipulations of power.

Schiff wanted to replace the constitution, to fit his narratives, by fabrications of several events that did not happen, by replacing the constitution according to his terms without due process.

Now, it is clear to the minds of the Senate, after Mark have laid out all the violations of Adam Schitt, and the radical DEMS , Senate must restore the innocence, reputation, and power of the Executive branch, free and independent from the greed of the House. The Office of the president has its own executive rights and privileges independent from the house, as defined in the 3 branches of government.

The president has done great jobs on his disposal of duties according to the constitution.

Any complain radical DEMS? You are nothing but outlaws and violent mobs.

Nevertheless, has anyone thought that this whole operation has been a fraud, that the democrats knew up front they could never actually prove any impeachable act of the President. Thus, they did as much in secret as possible, refused to disclose the whistleblower, refused to go to the courts for subpoenas of witnesses, refused to allow equal participation in the process to House Republicans, etc. And now, this is before the Senate and the dems have know they could not win this fight, yet went forward anyway. So, if/when the Senate acquits the president, the democrats will go crazy blaming everything on the republicans and most of their followers are ready and willing to believe this. I have read several "polls" saying that people say that results of impeachment will not change their minds. Of course, these "polls" are a slander against Trump supporters, but applies equally to democrat supporters. So many of these people seem to be crazy, no matter the facts used to point out they are wrong in their declarations, they totally ignore as though never heard. I read their comments on FB posts and am amazed, really unbelievable. But, if the people they listen to says the republicans are to blame, that Trump is guilty but the GOP protected him, they will believe all of it and constantly repeat it.

DOH! My bad! I'm usually pretty conscientious about my spelling. I certainly missed it on this one. Thanks for pointing it out. Too bad I can't correct it.
