It was a celebratory mood with the boys and girls at NASA
They had just made the scientific discovery of a lifetime
Dr Lowenstein,the head scientist at NASA,asked every one to be quiet,as he was receiving a call from the President of the USA
Lowenstein picked up a special red phone and spoke into it
"MR President"said Lowenstein"(grinning from ear to ear)after twelve long years of research,
we have found signs of intelligent life on Mars!!"
Lowenstein listened for a moment,and his smile disappeared,replaced by a frown."But Mr President,that's impossible,we could never do that!!Yes Sir, we will certainly try"
He hung up the phone and addressed the scientists staring at him curiously.
"I have some bad news"he said
The President now wants us to find signs of intelligent life in Congress!!"
