A bill in the W VA House was introduced inviting Second Amendment Sanctuary counties in VA, ( most of them) to become part of West Virginia, much in the same way that W VA seceded from VA during the Civil War.

There would be a big fight if Missouri even thought of accepting any part of Illinois.

Southern and Central Illinois is just like Missouri. Only Chicago is nuts, and its spread a little to surrounding counties. But if you look at the county map for the 2016 e******n, most of the state is red.

Well, in that case, we might consider. Personally, my relatives came from Carolton, Ill. in 1872.

Wow, longtimer!! 3/4 of my relatives came from Germany in the 1870s to 1880s. The other 1/4 would qualify me for DAR I suppose. Were " wilderness explorers" in Kentucky

Virginia is really starting something. The United States is turning out be a different country, all in all for war weapons, I have weapons of slight destruction, don't figure I need anything else But I am not against you having all you want. I just don't see crazy politicians trying to start a war for name recognition. Nancy Pelosi has gotten demo politicians wound up into insanity, much like herself. But people need to stop and think about what they are doing. Civil war can cause a lot of owwwies, and we don't have enough band aides.

I go back a long ways. My grandfather on my mother's side, Israel Meadows, served with Washington in the French & Indian war and then served in the Revolution.
