betty-I wonder if the American people know or even care that out of 535 members of Congress (Senate and House of Representatives) only one man has ever submitted a balanced budget and that man is Paul Ryan. Of course that budget was passed in the House but it was dead on arrival in the Harry Reid democrat controlled senate and not even debated but it does make one wonder what the other 534 members are actively engaged in besides controlling the Oceans and renaming the Redskins !! Good Luck America !!!

Yes Ryan balanced the budget on the backs of the middle class and the poor. Did you happen to notice his plan to turn medicare into a vocher program or social security into savings plan run by wall street. Let's not forget the tax breaks for the rich the job creators.

Hey, Chris how do you know all this since the Senate never even allowed that thing to be debated in the Senate? You people really think Dirty Harry and crowd are very good and believe any lie they tell you, it seems. Why didn't they even debate it just a little bit so they could point out the worst parts of it instead of making all those statements pulled from their nether regions?

Why don't you google Ryan budget then you might know something about what you post.

I will try your way. Is that the way Senators had to find out what that budget said? Of course, if it came from the HOuse, Dirty Harry tabled it and it was never discussed on the floor or in any committee.
Wouldn't it be nice to be able to find out about things like that from the proper method?

I googled Ryan budget and found nothing like you seem to think is there. What progressive terms did I need to give them to get all that good stuff you say is there?
Do you know that what you get from search engines is determined by what you ask for? I guess I didn't know the progressive terms to add to the two words you mentioned.

Did anybody notice the deflection used by just chris in going away from not believing the IRS headman to the so called "Ryan Budget"? One helluva job of deflection and the thread died from that deflection. These lefties k**l lots of good things with their deflection because we allow it without calling them out for it.

just chris: Your all wet on the issues...do you think you can take other peoples money either steal it or tax them to death to solve your perceived problems? A socialistic viewpoint is not acceptable by the majority in a democracy or a republic. The wealth of a free Nation should not be redistributed and called the duty of the wealthy. The so-called wealthy deserve less criticism as their accomplishments and fortunes were usually amassed by their intelligence and hard work.
To spend valuable time and energy degrading the wealthy only leaves less time for one to achieve his own goals. Chrisie; start working on your own success and leave mine along! I feel that the poor or working class should get a break. They do. An intelligent look at the many luxuries and governmental funded perks allocated to the poor and low-income residents reveals who pays and who receives.
The thousands of social programs, scholarships, welfare. Medicaid, protective services, and the list goes on and on. describe the endless items available to the nonproductive inhabitants of our land. Yes, these are paid for by the wealthy, not the poor. At some future time, the wealthy may ask, Give us a break.
Jealousy is a very time-consuming waste of potential energy.
If you want to balance the budget, then tighten the Governments waste line ....I keep mine in check and live within my means.
