Why is it when a politician (notice I didn't infer any party affiliation) is asked a simple yes and no question the response is always some long winded diatribe that has absolutely nothing to do with the question asked. And liberal loons if you can't keep your responses reasonable stay out of the conversation this also applies to conservatives as well.

There responses drive me insane. What’s worse is the pandering questioner. Get a direct answer. If you don’t call them on it.

Hah! That's like those few occasions when a politician replies to a letter or email in which you asked simply, "How are you going to v**e on the such & such bill?", and you get a three page form letter covering everything under the sun from how they were brought up, what they deeply believe, the state of the economy, this, that and the other thing, but they never get around to answering your simple yea or nay question.

THAT is the art of being a politician. They all have great vocabularies. They all can look you square in the eyes and lie to you. For most, when they reach the top, they know that no matter what they are caught in or doing, pretty much nothing will ever happen to them. If they ever DO answer a question and the public receives it negatively, they say no, I misspoke myself, I meant the opposite.
In my opinion, that's one of the reasons Trump is so popular...he tells it like it is. Also. once he talks...he does!!! Sometimes he doesn't know when to just be quiet, but that's OK cuz' he fights for US, the real American citizen and patriot.

Donald Trump is the first non-politician we've had in the White House in my lifetime of over six decades.
He's there because he loves America, not because he's looking for a political career.
The rubes, dupes and dumbjohns who bask in the glory of left wing propaganda will never understand, they'll continue to embrace the political dogmas of a system that was developed to destroy our own, to deprive us of our liberty and the pursuit of happiness our political system encourages...
Today's Democrats are lemmings.

You ask them what time it is and they tell you how to make a clock.

They attempt to put a shine on a sneaker.
Or convince you, the night is day.
The problem is some are successful.

It really isn't the size of their vocabularies. It is just simply their great ability to talk firever without saying anything of worth to anyone.

I dunno...they like to throw a lot of words that a lot of people don't understand. For instance, I didn't know what a quid pro quo was until Trump was accused of it. I remember that Bush senior used that term but back then I didn't even own a computer. Politicians know that these people don't get a chance for explaination because they talk so long. Thank goodness now we have smartphones and can quickly get the meaning of Latin phrases or any other word/s we truly don't know what the meaning is.
