The problem with "religious people" is that they believe they have some god given right to force their religious views on other people who do not believe what they do. Christians have no more right to "practice" their religion than muslims, mormons, or jehovah's witnesses do. Thinking of it like that ,ight help them sort out the realities of how much their religious views mean to other people.

Muslims actually do get persecuted to the degree that they cannot come to this country and practice their religion any more than mormons can have 30 wives. Note to the Kim Davis's of the religion, no you can't get a job and practice your religious values if it deprives someone else of their civil rights.
