The butcher at the local grocery store used to live in Ridgway, Colorado. One rainy morning he was driving from Ridgway to Montrose when he came upon a nice car sitting at the side of the road with a flat tire and a guy walking around looking at the flat tire. My friend, the butcher, stopped and changed the tire for the guy. After the tire was changed the guy pulled out a hundred dollar bill and offered it to my friend. My friend refused the payment saying that he was very happy to help and they went their ways. About a month later my friend received a letter from his local bank and the mortgage on his house had been paid off by a man by the name of Donald Trump. True story.

I have a similar story.
My girlfriend at the time related this to me, this happened around 1992.
She told of her uncle stopping to help a limo driver change a tire. After that was done
the limo driver offered to pay for helping, uncle refused, limo driver wanted to do something
for him and pressed on, uncle stated it was his wife's birthday and some flowers
would be nice. He grave the driver his address and went home. Two weeks later he found
out that his mortgage had been paid off. It was Donald Trump in the limo.
My girlfriend is the last person that would be interested in politics or current events.
This took place in Gary IN.

I read of another thing he did.
He provided his plane to fly a seriously ill child cross country for a needed operation.
Many other good deeds have been attributed to him also.
He didn't become a bad guy until he ran for president!

Be cautious in believing these things. IIRC, this is not true; it'a an urban legend that has been around quite a while. The liberals love it when someone posts these believing they are true.

That being said, someone else posted about President Trump using his plane to fly a critically ill child to a special hospital - that one is true.

I have three. One is he and Pence paid off a vet's mortgage. A special vet? No. He was just going to be thrown in the street in a few days. Two He repaired Wollman's rink in Central Park free. Three, When the shrub stopped sending planes to bring us back after Desert Storm, Trump sent his private jet. I wonder if he knew that he had a black ops guy there too. He did a lot of things without looking for glory. Weird, that's so not him.

I don't know when or if many of these top politicians or millionaires drove their own vehicles. I do know Warren Buffett does occasionally drive himself and he sometimes drives an older car. Wh**ever else you say about him, he is not pretentious like many others in his income bracket.
