Hi,
We oldsters have experienced many set backs. We remain positive, keep our sense of humor and empathize with others on onepoliticalplaza.
For five years I have had five of the top ten most deadly diseases. This year I have had four surgeries. Also I had been diagnosed with advanced prostate cancer in November and last Friday with advanced skin cancer. This has blown my suger from between 30 and 350 4 times this week.
I am still preaching three Sundays a month. Recently I returned to visit a college where I taught 30 years ago. I was talking with the Dean in the office whan a teacher with whom I taught heard me. She called me by name and thethree of us chatted. She mentioned that she felt I was a great motivator. The Dean told her to take me to her class and motivate. When it was over we went back to the office and he asked how it went. She said that everyone incluing her had taken copious note. She had writen 12 studying habits about she had never heard before.
The Dean asked if I would do it for other classes and I have been back four times. Next week I go back for more classes.
Not only that but we are using "Essential Learning Sk**ls" a book I wrote about reading and studying books, preparing for and taking exams and speed reading.
I also signed contracts for writing two biographies and I started the first one Monday.
You all are in my prayers. If you think you can, or if you think you can't you are right.
Every week I find a young person and learn from them. I also try to teach them something. This is another reason onepoliticalplaza is a blessing. Thanks for enlightening me.

Nothing is coincidence and I believe you were meant to go back doing what you obviously love.. Bravo to you and what a blessing for those whom get to hear your lectures..
