Only five presidents have not been reelected after their first term. Odds are on Trump unless there is an economic downturn.

Carter had a bad economic crisis. George HW Bush had a moderate economic downturn, but he was in reality the third Reagan term running for a fourth term.

My personal theory of P**********l politics is this general rule, each party gets 2 terms in the White House. I call it the Son of Witless P**********l Law.

Ronald Reagan served two terms. George H.W. Bush served one term, which as I see it was the third unspoken Reagan Term because for the most part it was a continuation of the Reagan Policies. That third term violated the Son of Witless P**********l Law, which is only a general rule, not absolute. When Bush SR ran for ree******n he sought a fourth continuous Republican term, which it turned out not to be possible, partly because of a funny little guy named Ross Perot splitting the Republican v**e.

Laugh all you want, as a general rule this has been consistent. The biggest exception was Roosevelt-Truman. Even Nixon-Ford followed the rule. Jimmy Carter's 4 years was also an exception to the rule.

Now if you go by my rule, Donald Trump's e******n over Hillary Clinton was baked in, almost. I think Donald must be aware of it, and once he had the party nomination, that was why he alone was so confident he could knock her off.

So unless something totally unforeseen occurs, Donald will win ree******n, and these clowns in the debates are only rehearsing for 2024, when one of them will will win.

Pres. "Read My Lips" had a "Perot" problem too.

Also, Ford was never elected to the office.
