The General always walked backwards, that way he could see where he came from ( in case a retreat was called for ). He had a far younger aid decamp who looked at the way forward ( plausible deniability ).
So, on the orders of General Principles, let younger people look forward, while older folk look back - in case a retreat becomes necessary. Someone needs to know the way back to safety.

I wouldn't know which pro found them, but I'm glad they did, it saves a lot work. I used to enjoy living on the edge, but my legs don't work so good anymore, so I slip and cut my ass. The good thing is, I can no longer sit on the fence, I have too much scar tissue down there, so I just topple over in one direction or the other.
