I am pleased to see the President step on the governor's toes.

It would be nice to have Newsoms tail feathers clipped by the President, through the feds getting results.

One of the problems they won't but as it stands they constitute a serious health issue not only to Californians but to the rest of us with the diseases they are finding including the plague. Read an article about a minister who tries to help these homeless he got a scratch and ended up losing a lower leg

The garden shed belongs to the owner and they should be free to do what they choose with their property. Rent control is simply another welfare system.

It's what's causing the homeless problem most of thes people had jobs but we're priced out of their apartments! I'm sure your not for raising wages ,this is a fine example of Republicans effort to keep the working man down , bust unions fight mimnum wage increases!

If your job doesn't pay enough for your rent, etc. then you need to find a better job, relocate, etc. People do it all the time. It is up to the individual to make their life better - not the government.

not in places like Seattle ware the cost of housing has gone through and then you can pay 20 to 30 bucks a day to park. i lived next to Microsoft workers who paid over 6000 a month in property taxes all this is fine if you work for Microsoft everyone else is fu

Then leave Settle.

You still don't get it. It is up to the individual to make their lives better; depending on a government handout will not get you there.

I read an article back a ways where they had offered help and a place to live and they refused
