NY Law now gives I******s Given More Rights Than Citizens

Sometime I question my own sanity - Is it me, or are we living in some type of bizzaro world, where up becomes down, and black becomes white?
This summer, New York State’s politicians joined those of “[t]welve other states and the District of Columbia” in forcing “i*****l i*******ts” to buy driver’s licenses. Known as the “Green Light Law,” their bill went into effect this week and allows all New Yorkers age 16 and older to apply for a … driver license or learner permit regardless of their citizenship or lawful status in the United States.”

Not only can i*****l i*******ts drive around freely without restriction, but the Green Light Law also privileges them above American citizens. When anyone from the Department of Homeland Security runs the license plates of a car registered to an illegal, they will be stopped from accessing the public records associated with the vehicle.
A spokesman for DHS said in a statement* that the law “will protect criminals at the expense of the safety and security of law-abiding New York residents:”
Besides giving driver’s licenses to hundreds of thousands of people who broke our laws and have come to our country illegally, the New York law also blocks DHS law enforcement officers who investigate crimes like child exploitation, human trafficking, terrorism, the targeting of gang members, sex offenders, and drug smuggling, from accessing important public records. Accessing this information is vital to building out these criminal cases, identifying criminal suspects, and enhancing officer safety.
New York State’s DMV Assistant Commissioner for Communications, Lisa Koumjian, confirmed this was the case to the Daily Caller.
“Under the Green Light Law, no DMV data of any kind can be shared with an agency that primarily enforces i*********n l*w, which means ICE, Customs & Border Protection and Citizenship and Immigration Services do not have access to data unless the DMV is presented with a valid judge-signed court order, subpoena or judicial warrant,” she said.
This decision is yet another insane case of pro-i*****l i*********n policies in action. Not only will i*****l i*******ts, who potentially do not have the sk**ls to drive in America, be given driver’s licenses, but they cannot be checked upon by the authorities! How on Earth is anyone supposed to enforce i*********n l*w when you can’t catch anyone who’s jumped the border?"

So I guess these illegal drivers won't be required to have insurance either. At least you cannot check if they do.
