But here is a big "what if" .... What if she is getting help from some t*****rous anti-Trump Republican Senators who are quietly working to get enough Republican members of the Senate to stand up to McConnell and insist on a full blown trial and on bringing in the witnesses pelosi is insisting on? And what if they secretly suggested to nancy that they needed more time to twist a few more arms? Otherwise it
could be over and done with before they had a chance to summon enough troops and that would be that.
I don't think I need to name names here, but "In It For Mitt" Romney comes to mind.
Just a thought ... I think she's got something up her sleeve ...

I don't think Mitt cares. He was a governor and then a P**********l candidate, and being a Senator is kind of a step down for him .. which makes you wonder what the heck he's doing. The only reason I can think of for him to do this is to thwart Trump's agenda or to do wh**ever he can to help get rid of him. I believe him to be sneaky and conniving, so most anything he does would be behind the scenes. And I don't think he cares about getting elected again because Trump will be out of office when Mitt's six year term is up.
Anyway, it was just something that crossed my mind today as a possibility ...
OTOH, it could just be that nancy is drunk on power now that this impeachment thing has gone to her head and she thinks she can continue to run the circus and call all the shots. In that case, she's nuts.
