Twas the night before impeachment
And all through the house,
No one was sleeping, not even a mouse.
The Republicans hung out by the chapel in prayer, with Hope's of a down v**e soon would be there.
The children were nestled and smug in their heads, while visions of an ex president, danced in their heads.
And mamma Pelosi, and Schiff with his crap,
Had all done their best to rattle Trump's trap.
When out on the lawn, at the white house, what a clatter, I could see him doing cartwheels, as though nothing matter.
I saw Trump from the window, he flew like a flash, he tore open his shirt, like a Superman past.
The moon claimed his victory, on new fallen snow. The flakes were merely objects to trample below.
When what to my wondering eyes did appear,
Yes, the whole first family, and huge crowds as they cheered.
Oh, that crazy old Trump, so sly and so slick,
He beat all the odds, and that fat Nadler prick.
More rapid than EAGLES the "no" v**es they came.
And we whistled and shouted and called out their names.
On CNN, on FOX, NBC, they be fixin
ABC, CBS, and the rest in the mix too.
To the top of the ratings. one of us will crawl,
All while She suffers and continues to fall.
And then in a twinkling, I heard there was proof. That the bribery and treason was just a dumb goof.
As I drew that in my head, " could we turn around?" Could the Trump train still be MAGA land bound?
With a wink of his eye, thumb over his head
Soon gave me to know, I had nothing to dread.
Trump spoke not a word, but twittered his work, he stomped on the mockers, and bamboozled the jerks.
And flipping the finger at all of his foes,
"In just a few moments, I'll rise in the polls!"
He sprung up again, and gave His fans a whistle as the left wing flew away
Like the down on a thistle.
And I heard Trump exclaim, as we ended the night.
MERRY CHRISTMAS! ..it's okay to say, alright?

Twas the night of impeachment and all through the House
The members were stirring … starting to verbally joust
The podium was polished, gavel ready to pound,
In dems’ hopes that their scheming would soon bring Trump down

Pelosi in her pantsuit and Nadler in his tent
Squad in rapt attention at this long-awaited event.
As the Speaker stepped up and pounded the gavel
Joy overtook her …. her “somber act” did unravel.

While visions of glory danced in her head,
Schiff and Nadler beside her, the Articles she read.
With a face shining bright and a heart filled with glee
She began the final v**e for this contrived victory.

Only dems v**ed “Aye,” most too fearful to stray.
Republicans stood united and all v**ed “Nay.”
The majority carried, but that victory rang hollow
A truly partisan v**e would be too hard to swallow.

Then back at the door there arose such a racket
As Melania entered, in her “I Don’t Care” jacket.
Right behind her was Trump sporting a bright red tie.
And they flew down the aisle in the blink of an eye.

Bearing gifts for the dems, with beautiful red bows
They were all lumps of coal … wrapped in the latest polls!!
Trump had surged in those polls, with dems losing big
‘Cause Folks saw the injustice … that the outcome was r****d.

On Pelosi, On Nadler, On Schiff and On Others
Lay the blame for dems’ failure to accept v**ers’ druthers.
Then quick as they came, the Trumps headed out
Their smiles beaming bright among Republicans’ shouts.

And they heard Trump exclaim, as he sped out the door,
“The People of this country are deserving of more!”
“This is the best gift of all, and this act they’ll remember
When we win in a landslide, thanks to you, next November!!”
