As for the fact that Trump can't stop all witnesses .... then, AGAIN, why don't the HOUSE dems continue their pursuit in the courts???? They know they need far more evidence of wrongdoing than they have been able to conjure up and, without more proof, the Senate is simply going to dismiss them as the clowns that they are at this point. Meaning they will have done nothing but waste everybody's time. It would behoove them to pursue this so that they could get their smoking gun ... IF there was any there there ... which there is not and they know it. Addicts reach for anything, I guess.

We all know the DEMS and the DEMS ONLY will v**e to impeach Trump in the HOUSE. A solely partisan v**e on impeachment for ridiculous, trumped up charges will mean absolutely nothing. Which is why the Senate will give it no legitimacy whatsoever and v**e to dismiss ... to show the entire country what foolish, Trump-hating, partisan hacks we have running the House.

And, oh yeah, Trump will be in office for the next four and a half years, and his re-e******n will be in part because of what the dems are doing right now. They will have put a stain on the House and on themselves for their part in a third-world like kangaroo court with no proof of any wrongdoing against a sitting President for the sole reason that the h**e him and his supporters. And there will be a stain on peeeeelosi, shifty and nadler, as history will not be kind to them.

Nah, it won't. Peeeeelosi and shifty will be remembered for their hatred and dishonesty that so overpowered them they lost their minds, ignored their ethics and abandoned common civility ... their hatred for this President has been well documented by the words coming from their own mouths now for three years. Cries for impeachment started the day after Trump was elected. They lied, the c***ted, they claimed alleged wrongdoing over and over with no proof, they began pointless investigations, etc., etc.

Just look at how this morphed into nothing ... starting with 2+ years of Russian collusion, then obstruction of justice, then violations of emoluments clause, then quid pro quo, then bribery, then extortion. They claimed they HAD HIM on ALL of those things. Shifty promised clear and convincing evidence. Yet after all this time and all this effort and all these investigations, all of these claims and charges simply fell away, and what are they left with? Abuse of power and Obstruction of Congress. The first one ambiguous and up for interpretation. THe second one so ridiculous it will probably be laughed out of the Senate proceedings without even a v**e. Nothing criminal. Nothing provable. Nothing even close to impeachable. THAT will be their legacy. THAT will be the big asterisk by their names FOREVER.
