If Trump Really Was Worried About Corruption He should Have Quietly Taken It Through Official Channels

There are many facets to this besides the GOP rhetorical premise that this made perfect sense for trump to withhold aid because of the concern for corruption...

It's okay for a president to have valid concerns and act accordingly through official channels, the official channels is the really crucial thing here because going through official channels would have given him a chance to see a whole different perspective that any president needs to know...
...the record, the real facts on what had gone on with Biden and anti corruption efforts would have been explained to him, as it had been well covered in intelligence and state department briefings to both the house and senate
...the pentagon was required to sign off on corruption safeguards, which they had done
...the Ukraine had a new president and administration that was all about rooting out corruption
...the OMB channels tasked with disbursing funds were telling trump people this was illegal, and that there were steps trump would need to take reporting to congress that this needed to be done
...the real ambassadors and state department people were being subverted with Giuliani and other people operating outside of official channels on policies that were against the interest of our national security.

Yes trump had a right to be concerned about corruption, but if he operated inside of official channels that even a president is required to stay within, t***sparency being a big part of what official channels, he could be far better informed and represent the country's best interests rather than trump's often Putin influenced interests, which anyone in the state department, intelligence, and pentagon could have told trump.

Trump is not serving the best interests of the country, and he is surrounded by career officials that would keep him straight if he weren't prone to acting like his opinion and what he wants to do is all that matters. To the right, these career officials who know what's right and what the best interests of the country are, are what the right calls the deep state...

...May the force be with the patriotic honor and integrity of the deep state, because trump and the GOP are in open and full support of corruption as bad as we have ever seen, along with Putin and other dictators.

And now Giuliani is recommending an old Ukrainian guard corrupt player to be the Ukrainian ambassador, when they are trying to get rid of corruption...brilliant, just brilliant

Your "official channels" is exactly why we have problems. That's called 'The Swamp' and that's exactly why Trump was elected.

Just curious, but is the Attorney General an official channel? In June 1870 Congress enacted a law entitled “An Act to Establish the Department of Justice.” This Act established the Attorney General as head of the Department of Justice and gave the Attorney General direction and control of U.S. Attorneys and all other counsel employed on behalf of the United States. The mission of the Office of the Attorney General is to supervise and direct the administration and operation of the Department of Justice, including the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Drug Enforcement Administration, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, Bureau of Prisons, Office of Justice Programs, and the U.S. Attorneys and U.S. Marshals Service, which are all within the Department of Justice. According to the Democrats' star witness, Barr was "in the loop." who else do you "feel" the POTUS needed to read in on issues needing investigation?

Out of 320,000,000 Americans, the Bidens are the only corrupt individuals? If Trump were concerned about corruption, he'd resign and report to prison.
