The governor of Virginia believes he has the right to ignore federal law on i*****l i*******ts, but if people do not abide by his proposed anti-second amendment gun grab he believes he can jail the whole state.

States have absolutely no duty or obligation to enforce federal law, immigration is a federal responsibility that states need not waste taxpayer money enforcing. On the other hand over decades the courts have determined that it doesn’t violate the second amendment to regulate firearms short of banning them. Removing firearms from insane and violent people pending judicial review is an entirely reasonable action by a state and will very likely never be successfully challenged on second amendment grounds. It is perplexing what you mean by “jail the whole state” please elaborate.

States are quick to beg federal assistance when there is a natural disaster huh? States have violated Federal drug laws by legalizing marijuana. So far as restricting access to weapons to the insane.....nah I'm not going to say it!

Article VI, Clause II, U.S. Constitution: clearly states that federal law supersedes all state laws. Thus states must abide by and enforce federal laws.

No, no....you (Mulletfuhrer) are trying to do that lib/prog/rat thing........lie.

Being an old fashion outhouse lawyer, I think there is a lot of gray area between Federal law and State law. A state can not make a law that is in conflict with Federal law, however of late, states have been doing that. I don't think a state has to enforce Federal law. When the Federal law mandated the speed limit at 55 miles per hour, the states that did not comply just had their funding taken away. Legalizing pot is against Federal law, but states are doing that and Federals are not trying to enforce the pot law. I see a huge breakdown of the American Federal system, particularly with sanctuary cities and states.

The City of Chesapeake, where I live, declared us a Constitutional City as apposed to a Sanctuary City. Mike

Cant have it both ways, Jeep boi! Re-read the Ninth and Tenth Amendments. Immigrating by breaking the law is illegal and states have an obligation to enforce laws that the Feds won’t. The Second Amendment protects LEGAL ownership of firearms under restrictions already established. Your “points” are unrelated and unsupportable........but.........you already knew that! These carpet baggers will lose, badly!!

The fact that I'm armed and loaded and will use extreme force if necessary to defend my 2nd amendment rights will probably get me k**led but I won't go down without a fight. The FKing dems think they are winning, NOT. Mike
