The government just sent Ilhan Omar a letter that means bad news for her future

Muslim Rep. Ilhan Omar can’t seem to stay out of trouble.

Still, she somehow remains in Congress.

But the government just Ilhan Omar a letter that means bad news for her future.

Beyond her anti-Semitism and hatred for the United States, Ilhan Omar has found herself in trouble in everything from her marriages, her taxes, and even her campaign finances.

Now the Federal E******n Commission just sent Ilhan Omar a letter asking for her to release her small dollar contributions.

In her latest FEC report, she lists over $800,000 in small dollar contributions of less than $200.

A candidate doesn’t have to list any donation under $200 individually.

But the FEC seems to be suspicious that she may be shielding higher dollar donors by illegally reporting them as small dollar
donations.

The Washington Free Beacon reports:

The Federal E******n Commission is inquiring about the accuracy of information provided by freshman representative Ilhan Omar’s (D., Minn.) campaign in relation to its small dollar contributions, according to filings.

Omar’s campaign reported $834,000 in small dollar contributions and $250,000 in large dollar contributions (donations of $200 or more per individual) during the third quarter of 2019. The FEC sent a letter to the Omar campaign in late November asking it to provide further clarification into its unitemized contributions—donations less than $200—during that time. The letter raises questions over whether the campaign shielded large donors by improperly classifying their contributions as small dollar donations.

“When contributions from an individual reach $200 for an e******n cycle, each subsequent contribution from that individual must be itemized, regardless of the amount,” the FEC’s letter states. “Please amend your report to provide [itemized contribution receipts] if necessary, or to clarify that for contributions received in the 2019-2020 cycle, the aggregate total for the e******n cycle for each contributor does not exceed $200.”

This letter could end up turning up nothing.

But over $800,000 in small dollar donations in one report is shockingly high for a Congressional candidate.

Considering her history of shady activities, this could turn into a bigger scandal.
