Abuse of Power -

- Abuse of power, in the form of "malfeasance in office" or "official misconduct," is the commission of an unlawful act, done in an official capacity, which affects the performance of official duties. Malfeasance in office is often grounds for a for cause removal of an elected official by statute or recall e******n.

- Bullying or harassing behavior.

- Words Related to abuse. mishandling, mismanagement, mismanaging. ill-treatment, ill-usage, maltreatment, mistreatment.

- political corruption, is the use of legislated or otherwise authorized powers by government officials for illegitimate private gain.

- Power and Control. In the social world, power is a concept with two very different meanings--'power to' and 'power over.' ... 'Power to' refers to the ability of a person to change the circumstances of his or her life by creating and exercising options. 'Power over' refers to the ability to limit the options of others.



I believe that ANY unilateral, fully partisan impeachment of a president represents an abuse of power. Simply having a majority in the House does not give Congress the authority to impeach, especially with such nebulous charges as we have being presented today, especially when the bias of the witnesses against the president are so overwhelmingly against the president.

Attorney Turley hinted at it and I agree with him; if anyone could be seen abusing power here it is the democrats on this committee; especially its leaders, Schiff and Nadler. With out any bipartisanship, what so ever, against the president, this becomes an Abuse; a political scheme to undo a previous e******n and in this case, to protect themselves from obvious wrong doings.

This charade started before the inauguration, there wasn't anytime for the President to develop "abuse of power" but impeachment started immediately All this has ever accomplished is a "Crime" looking for a crime to happen

The dems can see the futility of trying to beat President Trump. They have already given their script for f**e news to release news about their plan to file impeachment proceedings against him on the day of Trump's second inauguration in 2021. Rumor is a word they overuse, but deny using. However rumor has it that they have rented the closed meeting room for writing the scripts for actors to learn. The actors have to wear masks so they are anonymous and are paid by checks in their names. There is also a. committee set up for a show called "Audition For Anonymous Whistle Blower" on national television.

Democrats are already guilty of interfering with an e******n, using tax payer money to discredit the President. This is all fraud, as is the leaders who are perpetrators of the c**p. This should not be allowed as this kind of thing will escalate into a never ending exercise regardless of who has the house majority. We will not be a democracy any longer. We have an excellent chance to make an error in judgement corrected and be able to maintain our free country. Thanks to the speaker of the house and a couple of chairmen. we are well on our way to becoming a c*******tic country. We cannot allow a few billionaires to own our nation. Stand up, demand your Representatives to end this useless c**p. The speaker and their two assistants should be removed from office immediately.

You ask, "Who are the true abusers of power?" My answer is our congresses and courts for decades now. Presidents are always temporary and, as has been made clear, are limited in what they can do without the support of congress and the courts. But the unscrupulous ones who marshall their power year after year and act on their personal desires and interests instead of representing the country, the constitution, and the American people are the real abusers. These two aspects of our government, congress and judiciary, act against every foundation of our nation and lie and lie and lie while doing it. But i***t and selfish citizens, caring only about themselves, keep v****g these t*****rs into office.
