Micah chapter 2

Verse 1 - 3

Before Israel was taken by Assyria, Ahab was king of Judah. Ahab’s wife’s name was Jezebel. Jezebel was from another country, she worshipped another god, and had 400 idolatrous priests on the government payroll. Ahab desired the vineyard of a man named Naboth. Jezebel used dirty tricks to help him get it. God is against corruption. Anyone can repent.

Verse 4 - 6

Because the children of Jacob refused to listen, they lost everything they had. God would send prophets. They would say don’t tell us what we need to hear, tell us what we want to hear. satan has deceived the whole world. If you teach truth, some should tell you that you are wrong.

Verse 7 - 10

God was put in a position where He could not bless His children. Things would have been so much better if they had obeyed. God and His children had become enemies. The Israelites would hide and rob the Israelites that went to Jerusalem to worship the true God.

Verse 11

Some preachers sleep with the wives of the men that bring their families to church. Churches deceive us.

Verse 12 and 13

Israel and Judah shall be reunited. We then shall be one nation under God.
