Following Jesus...

They crucified him! Jesus was telling the rest of us that follow him, that God loves us and will not desert us. Even until our last breath here on earth we can accept him. That is His love for us...he will not abandon us. He knows what is in our hearts because we are here because of Him!!! He created us! And even though you don't accept Him, He still holds out hope that you will before you take your last breath....He loves you!
Christ needed to die...
Are you unaware of this?
The Jews played a part in his destiny...
God created us..
What makes you think that I don't accept Christ?

Do you accept Jesus Christ as as your Savior? Do you believe he was the true messiah? And if so, why don't you call yourself a Christian? Proud Republican hasn't answered this question...as a Jew, can you call yourself a Christian?

I do call myself a Christian
Have for almost twenty years...
Christ is my savior... God be thanked...
Jews aren't Christians...
But that doesn't stop them from knowing and worshipping God...
All those who get their Christian inspiration and understanding from a Democrat TV comedian raise your hands!

If Saul of Tarsus was a savage persecutor of Christians before his conversion, then how do you account for his remarkable accomplishments in spreading Jesus's teachings and his contribution to the New Testament? Seems to me that over the 32 years of his ministry, the Apostle Paul, aside from Jesus Christ himself, made the greatest contribution to the growth of Christianity.
The New Testament record of the conversion of the apostle Paul is a tremendously important element of Christian history. It has a significant apologetic thrust, and is likewise wonderfully illustrative of the crucial elements of the Lord’s plan for human redemption.
FYI: Saul was not alone when he encountered the risen Christ:
And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.
And when I could not see for the glory of that light, being led by the hand of them that were with me, I came into Damascus. Acts 22: 9 - 11

Don't recall God ever stating that the Jews were getting it wrong... .
Really? Have you ever read the Old Testament? Ever heard about the Golden Calf or the pagan god Baal?

That is straying...
And they were duly chastened...
I was speaking concerning their worship of God...
Or do you think Jesus was lying when he stated that the Jews know what they worship?

Paul is an interesting figure...
But I agree with you...
He carries far more "heft" than he ought to...

I don't know much about the author of the Jesus comment, but I know about Jesus, and I'm Moselm.
America isn't a Christian Nation, and most Christmas today don't know Jesus Christ, and if they're did, then they would follow him, and not Satan's, respectfully

It seems you don't know much about Americans !!!

Not to Christians he doesn’t. Because they aren’t his words.

All of scripture is God-breathed. The men who penned it were His tools.

Except that the varying scriptures are at times inaccurate or in disagreement...
Not to mention the scriptures that weren't included for various reasons.. Or were removed later on...
Or the additions that were made over the years...
Even references to scriptures that have since been lost...
I agree that the Divine spark is active in the OT and NT... That doesn't mean there aren't errors and additions... Just that like in all things we as humans have managed to screw up
