John Ratcliffe said Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s forthcoming report on FBI intelligence-gathering activities is “likely to be damning” in how it reflects upon the Obama administration, and by extension former Vice President Joe Biden, who is a leading candidate for the 2020 Democratic p**********l nomination.

“Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff are racing to get this done,” the Texas congressman said on Fox News’s Sunday Morning Futures, referring to the House speaker and House Intelligence Committee chairman, respectively. “That’s why we have five impeachment hearings this week with eight different witnesses. They’re racing the clock. They want to get this done before information that comes out that damages the Obama-Biden administration and their efforts to frame Donald Trump come out in the IG report or from John Durham’s criminal investigation into those very same issues.”

The long-awaited report is eagerly anticipated by President Trump’s GOP allies, who claim Horowitz’s findings will show top Justice Department and FBI officials misled the FISA Court by using an unverified dossier compiled by British ex-spy Christopher Steele to obtain warrants to electronically monitor onetime Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. Horowitz’s findings could be useful for U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is conducting a criminal inquiry into the origins of the Russia investigation.

It’s funny how the Democrats are okay with Obama using the FBI to spy on Trump for no good reason yet they think that Trump should be impeached for asking Ukraine to investigate the Bidens when Joe Biden admitted that he used taxpayer funds to get the prosecutor who was investigating his son fired.

1) how can we o*******w trump, gain complete and total control of the government, when you cons hold the Senate and most certainly will dismiss all impeachment charges against Donald J (I'm not a Crook) Trump?

2) Mitch McConnell is blocking the full release of the Mueller Report. If it is the big nothing burger that you claim it to be why doesn't Mitch want the full report available to the public?

3) The IG report is due out TOMORROW. If this was a race to beat it wouldn't you say the race is lost?

4) As for the IG report. It's going to be the biggest fizzle since B******i. Barr is already on the record as confessing that he doesn't like what it says so I can't imagine that you conservatives will find it to your liking either.

Where you guys missed is that the majority of people in this government take their oath seriously and place their ideology second and the common good of the country first. Horowitz wasn't going to lie because he was a loyal conservative but tell the t***h because he IS a loyal American.

true, I let myself down by not being the nice respectful guy I yearn to be.. Once more my determination to be respectful no matter the barbs has fallen to the wayside and I lose once more..

I keep telling myself to grab some time before typing a response, but I always let the heat of the moment win the contest..
